If I could I would give them negative 10! I have been coming to this Popeyes for several years and never have I been treated so rudely as I did today. I came to the drive-thru to replace an order that they messed up the first time after waiting for it for 45 minutes first time. This time I came to order the same thing and handed the girl at the window my receipt and let her know that's exactly what the manager told me to do. She then gave me attitude because she had to delete my order because she already rang it up and told me that I should have told her at the drive-thru that it was a remake. However, the manager that I originally spoke to never told me to do that, they just said to order through the drive-thru and hand the receipt when I came up. I tried to apologize to the cashier just to have her close the window in my face after scolding me for making her having to delete it out of her computer. Then to have the window open again by a manager no less (that is supposed to be professional), and said we're going to have to pull you up with a major attitude like I broke down the store or something. Telling me I had to wait on the beignets. Upon getting home and opening my order they gave me Raw beignets. I have to say the unprofessionalism and attitude that they feel that is merited to give to customers is just disgusting especially a manager should know better. I wasn't even arguing with anybody I was trying to apologize getting a window slammed in my face not once but twice. Then when I got home to find that my food was raw again. I called the restaurant to speak to that unprofessional manager, she made excuses for their behavior saying that they were having trouble with the register so it's hard to delete an order. Either way there's no need to ever treat a customer with that kind of disrespect. I have given them lots and lots of business over the years and considered them to be the top Popeyes in the area. Sadly this is not the case anymore and I will never return. I could spend my hard-earned money somewhere else by people that appreciate my patronage. In this day and age biting the hand that feeds you and keeps you open when lots of places are closing down they should rethink how they treat people over something so small but I tried and tried to apologize for it but they didn't want to hear it. Last night I got a single order of Ghost Pepper Wings, and it took an hour. 20 minutes to wait in line, order, and pay, 40 minutes to receive my tepid wings, no ranch, drink without a straw, and missing French fries.
When I paid, the guy immediately told me to pull up, but didn't say where exactly to go like a place normally would. So I thought he meant to just pull forward one and a half car lengths to wait for a short delay.
Twenty minutes later, someone finally came out and brought a bag to my car, but it was the wrong order. She then spent the next five minutes wandering around the parking lot, looking for whose order it was. Apparently many people were waiting ahead of me, and being more jaded they'd all pulled into random parking spots (the cashier not giving us any direction), all over the lot. She eventually went back inside with the order, then came out again a couple minutes later and wandered around with it some more. Finally, a driver in a car BEHIND the drive up window got out and called her over; it was his order.
Note that this was NOT because of a worker shortage. I saw at least three people working, and from their actions it's clear there was at least a fourth behind the scenes. But they were slow, lazy, and indifferent. The wait wasn't because of the number of customers, but the sloth of the staff.
This store normally takes too long, and is often "out of" some things. I still stop by on occasion when I have time to waste and want something specific I like, or last night to try the new Ghost Pepper wings.
As for the food, you'll like the Ghost Pepper wings if you dislike spicy food. They were only faintly spicy, more like flavorless paprika than ghost pepper. They weren't even hot enough to be like mild jalapeno, much less ghost pepper. Read moreUPDATE 2/29/24: I think they changed managers because THIS is the Popeyes I remember!! My last few trips have been GREAT!! The staff is super friendly!! Food has been fresh and on point EVERY time (no matter the time of day). Customer service has been SUPERB!! I mostly go at night and the night manager is in there doing her BIG ONE you hear me?!?! Felt like home again, I pray they give the current manager and the current staff a raise. It’s well deserved!! KEEP THEM PLEASE!!!! Especially the lady in the scarf- I think she’s the manager. That queen is running that thang like a WELL OILED MACHINE!! BRAVO to them!! Praise god, my favorite Popeyes is officially back!! :-D
……. Old review SAVE A TRIP, DO NOT GO!!!! I don’t know if it’s bad management or they’re desperate for employees but when I tell you they WILL mess your order up and you WILL pay for food you did not receive. I ordered all Legs 3pc combo w/2strawberry biscuits, and an Arnold Palmer. Simple right? No. I received mixed chicken, only 1strawberry biscuit, and I had to ASK for my receipt and I had to ASK for my drink that came with the combo cause he was going to let me drive off. The guy at the window didn’t say ANYTHING to any of the request or even when I told him the food and stuff was wrong/missing. Literally not one syllable. This use to be my favorite location. The past year they’ve gone WAY down. One time they were closed because they ran out of food! How? And I promise you I’m the LEAST problematic customer- I worked in the customer service industry so I’ll let you get away with A LOT before I reach my limit to complain but this visit was just TOO terrible.
