Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Georgia

Trust the reviews! Go to the Cold Stone Creamery on Exit 269 if you are on I-75. Their address is 2500 Cobb Pl Ln NW Ste 230, Kennesw, GA 30144. I went to this Wade Green location once before, and it was not a pleasant experience. I gave them another chance months later, only to have another bad experience. I ordered what I wanted and the guy tells me it is hard to make. Then he asked if I would like to try a different ice cream. I told him it wouldn’t be what I asked for if he used a different ice cream. I told him I would just place an entirely different order. Total was nearly $13 for a love it size in a waffle cone. I told him that is insane and that the one on exit 269 is not that expensive. He said the other location is corporate and they are not, so they get to raise the prices. I told him I will not be coming back to this location. Then, as I was eating my ice cream, I noticed a string of hair in it, so I tossed it. AGAIN, TRUST THE REVIEWS! Horrible experience I've ever had! Birthday cake was an absolute disappointment. The cake was $70.00 and it looked like a a toddler made it while wearing a blindfold. We were told it would be ready for pickup the day of our kids birthday. We arrived to pick it up 30 minutes before the party, the cake was NOT ready!! The lady working rushed to write our sons name on it, that took almost 20 minutes alone. I told her very politely that the cake looked like a five year old made and to have a manager call me ASAP. It's been a week and I've had no call. I'm not one to write a review, but the store obviously doesn't have customer service.

This was by no means a last minute order and this company had plenty of time to make it 2 1/2 days, so really zero excuses of why we ended up with this hirrible cake. I personally watched 3 people walk out while the two girls working there argued with a customer who had ordered a cake for her husband’s birthday and they gave her their wrong cake. A chocolate instead of strawberry. She was demanding her money back while the girls had to call a manager to get authorization to do a refund. I also witnessed them skip over a nice Hispanic lady who had already been waiting patiently for 10 minutes to order a shake and her ice cream. I myself am currently handicapped and had no where to sit while waiting to place my order, as I am not able to stand up for long. I had to return to my car while my friend was kind enough to get my order for me, had she not been with me I too would’ve left. If this business doesn’t get better Management in place I don’t think the brand alone will sustain it! Potentially $100 lost within a 40 minute...
