Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Kennesaw

Me and my group were very annoyed during our visit here. First, our server came and asked us if we were ready to order after not even being there for 3 minutes and we said we were waiting on someone. We waited at least another 15-25 minutes for her to come back to take our order and we ended up getting up to go find her. I ordered 3 authentic tacos and asked for 2 steak, 1 chicken and she said I can only order 1 meat, which makes no sense. The food came out fast but that was probably the only good part of the experience. A manager brought out our food and I asked to have a very small side of queso because the tacos were bland and he said he would have to charge me for a full queso? As any normal person would I got frustrated so he brought the tacos to the back and put queso on them and charged me $1. I didn't mind paying but that could have easily been solved by just bringing out a small side of queso. Also, waitress did not give us any refills or remove our plants. I’m only leaving a comment bc I was charged $9.49 for a house margarita basically. I’ve been working in the restaurant bar industry for a while. When I got my check I just paid and left. The food here is always good. And I understand completely we are in a recession however I watched my margarita be made with strawberry mix you can pick up at your local liquor or grocery store and watch her pour my margarita from a jug !! I have no idea what tequila is in there. Neither did she ask if I wanted house or top self. I ordered and extra shot bc the margarita was sub par and the shot el jilmador was 8.59 which is well at a lot of places. The girl who severed me couldn’t me more than 20 so I’m not mad that she lack certain experience in asking specific question etc. had I known I would have been more specific myself! But yall definitely should not be charging a customer almost $10 for a margarita, when literally all I asked for was a strawberry margarita. The food was barely ok, but the service was some of the worst I've had lately.

We went in to a empty reception desk, only to be greeted after another group came in behind us and there was mass confusion on who was to be seated first. We did get seated first, but only after two servers were consulted about where to sit us. When we were sat, chips and salsa were delivered expediently, however I noticed an extra guest was with us. There in the blinds buzzing up a storm was a wasp trying to break free from his jail. I jumped up immediately and asked to be sat somewhere else. I was met with crazy looks but begrudgingly we were moved. There was a waitress swap now that we were in a new section and we were told by a waitress rudly that she would NOT be helping us. The food and drinks came about the same time. When we were leaving, I still heard my buggy friend trying to escape along with everyone else leaving.
