To the Management of Coyoacan: I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Coyoacan. I came in with a coworker and my fully trained, medical alert service dog—not an emotional support animal—and was told that no animals, including service dogs, are allowed inside. We were only offered a seat on the patio in 90+ degree heat, with fans turned on as a compromise.
This is not only inhospitable, it's a clear violation of federal ADA law and Georgia state law, both of which protect the rights of individuals with disabilities to be accompanied by service animals in public places, including restaurants.
I've visited this restaurant before with my service dog without issue. I hope management takes this seriously and updates their training and policies to ensure accessibility and legal compliance. Denying access to service dogs is not only illegal—it's discriminatory.
Sincerely, Jennifer

Read moreIt was empty when we got there. It has very appeasing decor, but does need to be cleaned. Our waitress (didn't catch her name) was very nice and very friendly. Always checked up in us but was never to pushy. The food was not very good at all. I got the tampequena and it was kind thrown together. The rice you could tell was 2 days old at least. I ended up taking it home to again to the stray cats lol. We ordered guacamole as a appetizer and that was the WORST $8 I have ever spent. We got some lime and tried to make it a little better but that didnt work. Needless to say we didn't eat it.. the sweet tea/unsweetened was horrible! The best part was our waitress!* update: we went back to try again WORST IDEA EVER! It was worst then the first time. We ended up not paying for anything but the drinks and a my daughter's tacos.. the meat was rancid and the poor waitress said that wasn't the first complaint about it. She has told the kitchen but they wouldn't do anything about it. She said she went to the owner but didn't they didn't say anything either.. we WONT BE GOING BACK. NO...
Read moreIdk how this place has 4.5 stars, we ordered a steak burrito and literally all we got was a small flour tortilla and the meat. 😳 we were just stunned. I wish I had taken a pic. The salsa for the chips was clearly salsa from a jar. We should have known it would be bad from the moment we asked if the burritos were wet or dry and server had no idea what we were talking about . Idk we are from California so don't know if that is a California thing for burritos 🤔. But not even rice and beans which we thought was a given in burritos. Also my husband doesn't speak much English and server appeared to speak Spanish and we are at a Mexican restaurant, so we expected him to at least speak some Spanish 🤷♀️ but maybe guessed wrong who knows . We thought that was odd. He just kept responding to me in English. Don't know if it's the area. 🤔 but anywho, did not have a good...
