It pains me to rate a Cookout this low. I LOVE Cook Out, like go several times a day whenever we are near one on vacation from South Florida up to the Southeast LOVE. But alas, I just can't rate this one any higher than 2 stars, and honestly it should be a 1 star, but my love for Cook Out just won't let me do it.
The drive thru appeared to be running smoothly which was good since the dining room was closed. We ordered our 3 shakes and excitedly prepared to glory in creamy goodness. Then the line just stopped and we sat for 16 minutes. Then finally get ready to turn the corner and pay for our delicious, heavenly milkshakes, when we're stopped again. Then there's 2 guys standing behind the van in front of us. Weird, but maybe they wanted some fresh air since it's taking forever. Nope, they just didn't feel like waiting in line so they cut all the cars who've already ordered and "walk-up" order. Not at the window that a lot of Cook Outs have to walk up. No, the pick up window for drive thru. And the girl let them order. We all then had to wait for them to pay and their order to be ready before we could get our milkshakes. Then they forgot to order something and ordered again! Now, I get that it is partially on the jerks who cut the line, but the Cook Out employee should've said no walk up ordering at the pick up window for drive thru when the line was 10 cars deep. By the time we paid for and got our shakes (24 minutes after ordering), they were already starting to melt and 2 of the 3 shakes were not even correct as they were missing flavors/add-ins. And let me reassure, it was not because the girl at the window was just to sweet and kind to tell the jerks no, she had plenty of attitude with me when I asked for some napkins, that she could've spared some to tell them no.
Come on Cook Out, I literally fan girl over you, like squeal and repeatedly slap the steering when seeing your gorgeous red and yellow billboard, fan girl. Please don't let me down like this again, I love...
Read moreIf I could leave 0 stars, I would. We are a Military family & we travel a lot during the holidays. I have never felt so uncomfortable placing an order for my family. The lady taking orders in the drive thru has no customer service etiquette at all. No manners & rude. Our daughter’s order was made wrong. (I asked the girl at the window her name & she said Jada) She handed us our food & we saw the order was made incorrectly. We sat there waiting for her (Jada) to acknowledge us for the longest. After waiting I signaled another girl she came to the window we tried to give her the hamburger back, she said she couldn’t take it so my husband said okay. We were like well if we see a homeless person we will give it to them. The other girl (Jada) comes back to the window & asks for the burger extremely rude like we were trying to keep a $4 burger when none of us like mayonnaise. We are doing extremely well financially. My husband is a US Navy Chief, I’m a realtor. It’s the holiday season & we are really generous during this time when it comes to leaving tips. (I’m assuming JAYLAN took our order since her name is on the receipt.) If the owner sees this, customer service is so important. Integrity is everything. Your employees work for you but they can also be bad for your business. They are considered the face of your company. How they treat your customers matter. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it. (After all of this, we sat waiting for a long time just to get one regular hamburger remade.) It’s like they purposely made us wait because they messed up our order. We love supporting black businesses,...
Read moreThis place is amazing. SUPER cheap-excellent quality! They have more than 40 flavors of milkshakes, so far I have tried three. Each shake I have ordered has been super thick, so it has to be eaten with a spoon..but that is okay because they do not skimp on the ingredients. If you order a butterfinger shake, there is a LOT of butterfinger in it. The peanut butter banana shake has hunks of banana in it, and the cherry cobbler shake has cherries along with what I think are vanilla wafers-all three were delicious! I don't even know where to start with the menu. You get a choice of an entree and two sides. I always opt for the regular hamburger and for sides I have tried the beef quesadilla, corn dog, relish hot dog, fries, onion rings, and chicken nuggets. Everything I have tasted had an excellent flavor. IF YOU OPT for the chicken nuggets as a side item-beware-you only get three...and if you opt for the onion rings as a side item, you only get 4..but with having a burger and two sides it is really plenty! The side of fries is a good amount, and the quesadilla is huge as a side. On to the SERVICE- in the dining area it is LOUD-because they are yelling out ticket numbers, however, each visit..I was greeted with a smile and fast service. NOW onto the DRIVE-THRU...not sure what the deal is with the second speaker..but don't do it!! Go to the first one to get your order in a timely manner. NO real issues or complaints- MY new favorite place and I will be going back! (I posted a couple of...
