Dear owner: Make female employees cut very long fingernails.
This is just one of many, many issues with this restaurant.
First and foremost: Long fingernails - There are if not 3, 2 female employees with extremely long fingernails. That's disgusting. If they were working in an office environment i wouldn't care but they're making food, coffee, etc. Disgusting - I don't think i need to explain why long fingernails are gross.
Second: I've been at either the drive-thru window, or walked in . I am no exaggerating to say about 7 times already I've been told they cannot make a sandwich because the bread is frozen and needs to thaw, or the bacon, or other items are frozen. Mind you i go to many, many other Dunkin' donuts and this is never, ever the case. Now, i don't run a restaurant, but I'm sure that the manager's job is to make sure everything is prepped as the day progresses. This tells me either employees aren't doing their job, or managers don't know how to manage properly. Keep in mind these are Dunkin Donut sales that are evaporating because your employees aren't prepping, and making sure items are thawed to serve. I'm sure they've turned away enough money to pay for proper training/supervision. Your employees are turning away money just so you know. EDIT: yesterday i was turned away because they didn't have half & half - Is that insane?
Third: employees standing around talking while customers aren't acknowledged: It has been done to me, and it has been done to customers while I'm eating in the restaurant. There are usually 4 women mostly gossiping, cutting it up while there are customers standing at the counter - sometimes for minutes before they're acknowledged. Unacceptable. I've seen people walk out because they aren't acknowledged. Again turning away money.
Fourth: Not stirring coffee, coffee tasting like decaf , coffee cold, too much cream, etc. You get what I'm getting at. Coffee should be consistently good always. I've never, ever gone to Starbucks, ordered coffee and it was either too cold, or sugar not stirred. It is a simple thing to do, but training seems to elude your employees. Please train them properly. People will go elsewhere otherwise.
Fifth: Cleanliness of the restaurant. Again I'll chime on employees standing around while the tables are dirty, there are crumbs on the floor, the sugar is missing, etc, etc.
Sixth: Attitude: this is mostly from the women that work there. Their body language, their demeanor is that of someone doing the customer a favor, no smiles, no thank you, etc. We aren't making line at a soup kitchen here we're paying with our hard earned money. Act like you appreciate the business and hope that a Starbucks doesn't open up down the street 'cause you'll be out of business. And if you don't care, or don't want to smile go work somewhere else. Simple.
Seventh: Better seating- I know this Dunkin' Donuts is inside a gas station but come on, have better seating, or more seating.
8th - Why do they have to use the register by the drive-thru? it is inconvenient, How about you use the register at the counter like all Dunkin' Donuts do?
9th: Bring the Oatmeal back.
10th: Please be more selective as to whom you hire? Is that too much to ask for? A clean cut appearance (no matter the race here) is key when you're serving people their food! It is a shame that this restaurant is run the way it is. The Dunkin' Donuts store on Lavista Rd. is leaps and bounds better even if they don't have a drive-thru. I hope that a Tim Horton's opens up close by, or a Starbucks. I will never.ever.ever use your...
Read moreToday, I made my order through the app for pick up inside the store. I walked in and I was the only one in the dining area at that time. I walked over to the pick up area and I could see that my order was in the pick up slot. Not wanting to just grab for it, as I had never ordered pick up from Dunkin before, I waited to see if an employee would assist me. For some reason, the lady in the drive thru stared right at me and made no attempt to see what I may need. She literally had a negative expression on her face. I was baffled at that. Then, I stood there being ignored for about a minute before a young girl acknowledged me. I said, "I think that's my order..didn't want to just grab it in case is was not." Then, I smiled. I got no smile back. At this point, I knew I would be making a review. I tried to see if I could at least plug my computer in the wall to do a little work, but neither of the wall sockets worked. So, I assume they don't want people staying long at this location. I noticed that the entire crew was African American and I was surprised in a good way and hopeful for a good experience, but disappointed when the customer service was non existent in my experience. I did hear one employee speak nicely to an elderly lady who was making her order. I was glad to see that. I will never go back to this location again. It was so uncomfortable. I really felt like they didn't want to help me. Who knows, maybe they had a super busy morning..but it was only after 9am...
Read morePitiful location with a bunch of incompetents working here. I ask for the exact same coffee every single time I go to any DD. Every other location can get it right except for this one. It’s always hit or miss. I literally have to sit at the window and taste it before I drive off just to make sure it’s correct. Today was a day I decided not to taste it in an effort to beat traffic, and of course it was not right. I don’t like super sweet coffee so my order is always iced coffee with oat milk, toasted almond and caramel to balance it out. What I got was some plain bitter coffee. Again, any other DD I go to gets it right, the pump of caramel gives it the right balance for me so that it’s not too bitter or super sweet. Why they can never get it right here is beyond me. It’s not that complicated to add 3 ingredients to an iced coffee. I called the location this time because it has happened one too many at this point. I told the lady on the phone 3 times what my order was and each time she repeated it back incorrectly. No wonder they rarely get it right. When she came back to the phone she told me that the GM said I could come back and get a refund and if I’d like they didn’t have to serve me any more. Seriously? This is what a so called GM had to say to a Paying customer. Instead of addressing your incompetent staff and training them properly, you invite a customer to no longer come back. Heard. I will not patronize this sorry location again. I can make bad...
