Initially I was disappointed in my DoorDash order from Five Guys: I received plain fries (but had ordered Cajun) and toppings were missing on the burgers. So I called and asked to speak to a manager, the phone was given to Sampson. He was so polite and patient as I explained the issues with the order. I told him I was on a quick lunch break and had meetings all day, which is why I didn't pick the order up myself and would not be able to make it back. So he offered for me to come in anytime later that week, he'd put my order on his desk, and they'd redo the order when I was ready to come back and get it the way it was ordered. This was on a Tuesday. Anyway, I called that Saturday during lunchtime and asked to speak with him. He remembered me and I confirmed that it was good for me to come in at that time and have the order redone. He said yes, said he'd get on having the order made, and asked if I wanted the burgers with the same toppings as initially ordered; I asked him to make sure the fries are Cajun. (That's a really big deal!) He'd kept my receipt from the DoorDash transaction on their end, so I wasn't tripping in saying my order was incorrect. So when I got there, he asked if I was Toni, I said yes... He said give them a couple more minutes on the fries and asked if I needed a drink or anything. I said no I was fine...but I really appreciated his kindness, excellent customer service, and attitude. This is my favorite Five Guys, despite the DoorDash mishap but otherwise, they are usually always on point. And all the employees I've interacted with over the years have been very friendly. It's overdue that I gave a review but this most recent experience was definitely one I needed to take time to write about. Thanks, Sampson for making it right! And thanks to all the other employees there for being courteous and...
Read moreShowed up at this Five Guys like twenty minutes before closing, last night. There were like two or three cars in the parking lot, but no customers inside. My boyfriend and I went in and the first thing I noticed was how these guys were hustling. It wasn’t the “stand around” you see at many places when it’s close to closing—and no “why are you here so close to closing” vibe from the cashier, either. He was extremely polite and talked extra loudly, so we could communicate through our masks and the Plexiglas barrier.
My boyfriend glanced at the price for the regular burger and said (a little loudly) TEN DOLLARS FOR A HAMBURGER?? Apparently, the pandemic has hit FG hard. No mind, though; we were hungry and it was getting late, so...
We ordered our burgers and a regular fry. The cashier offered hot sauce as a condiment, oddly... my bf took note. While we were waiting, my boyfriend wondered aloud about the hot sauce offer. It struck him that the guy went out of his way. So, when they called our number, bf asked for hot sauce and ketchup to go. We got home and noticed they gave us TWO hot sauce cups, but only ONE ketchup. I jokingly said, “maybe it’s bomb hot sauce.” :) :) :)
Turns out, YEP. Five Guys hot sauce is SHOCKINGLY delicious! It is so freaking flavorful! And these ten dollar burgers were not only the best Five Guys I’ve ever had, this was close to the best meal I’ve ever had with my boyfriend. Take me seriously when I tell you: GET yourself a side of hot sauce, next time you go to Five Guys (we never even opened the ketchup).
To the staff working at the Old Peachtree location on Friday night, 9/25/20, thank you for being the best. Y’all can really run a...
Read moreOn November 10th, 2023, I realized how long it had been since I enjoyed a Five Guys burger. I went to their 1611 Satellite Blvd, Duluth, GA location and ordered 2 bacon cheeseburger combos all the way for my wife and me. It had been one of those days, tough, stressful, didn't wanna do any prep and cooking, just wanted to get home and tear up my burger and fries and hit the hay. Got home, dug in...no bacon on my burger. No bacon my wife's burger. I checked the receipt, and it was there on paper, but non-existent on the burger. I was pissed. I did not feel like getting back out, so I fumed for a moment, my wife said, "Calm down, eat your burger," but I called and insisted I didn't want anything for free, just to let them know of their mistake. I wasn't rude or anything, but the manager there, David is his name, he said, "Your next two combos are on the house." I told him we rarely go out, and it'd probably be a while before we came back. He said, "I gotchu." I told David that if he honored his word days, or even weeks later, I would write him a great review. So that's what this is. I went back a month later, he was there, and he HONORED HIS WORD. The burgers were perfect, David, thank you to you and your crew. We will make it a point to patronize your Five Guys in the very near future. David exhibited leadership, humility, great...
