Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Georgia

My grandmother and I used to go to lunch together once a month. And then I got sick. The kind of sick where you are grateful to feel up to takeout at home. Days of actually eating out are few, far between - and something my loved ones and I recognize as special.

This was our first time at Freddy’s. I’d downloaded the app, and wanted to use the coupon with the ad they had on the windows: Download the add and get either a free cheeseburger or free cement. But the coupon didn’t come. Figuring I’d use the coupon for the dessert, we were seated, eating, having a wonderful lunch. The restaurant is very clean! The staff was pleasant and made the atmosphere upbeat and very much felt like I was being served a meal at their house.

As Ms Queena came to clear the table for us, she asked if the coupon had come through for the dessert. When it hadn’t, she asked if I would like to order something until the coupon came through. When I explained that I didn’t know when I’d be back, that my health isn’t in a good place.

Ms. Queena immediately jumped in. She asked what I would like to have, that it would be covered. She way hadn’t skipped a beat, the compassion and empathy that poured from her heart, brought tears to my eyes. Her gesture is something which truly meant more to my grandmother and I than an ice cream.

I usually try not to write these but I must have to .

I am bigger , and it is no secret. I have been working so hard to lose weight , and I decided to stop and try Freddie's with some of my friends . I was excited because they had just opened and I wanted to try the veggie burger super bad!

The food was great . However , while I was sitting there , my cardigan had rose up slightly where you could see my lower back . I was about to fix it when an employee walked up behind me and loudly exclaimed "Excuse me sir , could you pull up your pants please " while giggling . Everyone in the area stopped and looked at me , and he walked over to where he was sitting and continued to laugh at me with a table of coworkers . I went and sat in my car while my friends finished their food.

I have worked hard to get where I am at , and I should not have been treated like this . I was so embarrassed , to become the joke of a dining room full of people . He could have told me discretely , and it would have been fine .

I will never return to this location again , and I highly encourage you not to if you value basic respect , and not being made a laughing stock while trying to enjoy a nice meal...

The food here was very good. My family and i enjoy our meal. Afterward, we got ice cream. I order my normal signature truffle sundae add banana ($1.00). We all got our ice cream and as i was just about to take a bite, i see a hair.. so as anyone would do, i get a remake. No big deal. Once that was remade the girl came to my table and said they ran out of bananas… like mhm okay? So i asked for a refund for MY DOLLAR. Yes i did. Why? Well the fact the first one had bananas and i paid a DOLLAR for 5-6 slices of bananas i definitely want what i paid for back. As she goes to tell someone. I then remember my sundae came with whipped cream, which was on there the first time. So another girl grabbed my cup and came right back saying they don’t have anymore left. At that point i requested a refund cause what in the world? It was disappointment after disappointment so yeah i want a refund…
