If a negative was possible here, they'd have a -100! After I paid I noticed that the rice they were using was being stored in that grey container! I'm pretty sure that isn't part of food safety guidelines!!!
I ordered 5 pieces honey and lemon wings, shrimp fried rice and salmon and shrimp hibachi. The guy taking my order (I guess he was the owner, he never introduced himself and was kind of standoffish) put everything sloppily into the bag so the honey sauce dripped into the whole bag making it sticky.
Anyway the food looked disgusting, the salmon was over cooked, the veggies in the fried rice were brown and there was some congealed brown sauce drowning the over cooked soggy salmon and shrimp. The salmon looked like it was cooked straight from the freezer so it was soggy. Very unappetizing. I couldn't identify all the vegetables in the fried rice and being that it's sitting out who knows what was in it...long story short I asked for my money back bc I was scared of food poisoning, the guy tried to blame it on grubhub or Uber eats. I was like no sir YOU gave me the bag with the wing sauce dripping everywhere a few minutes ago -- it was noon but they weren't busy at all, so he can't say they were "busy".I asked him if he'd eat the food he served me... he walked away to wash his hands upset, as can be seen in the picture.
So many issues here, not sure how he didn't remember serving me not even 10 minutes prior and why he blames grubhub or ubereats for the nasty bag and horrible condition of the food. My biggest issue is why the rice is in that gray container just sitting there? Oh and see the wings already fried sitting over the fryer...shortcuts all over. Can a food inspector visit?
Food poisoning is real. Don't open a restaurant if you don't intend to handle the food properly. I guess I have high standards when it comes to food, I was taught that food feeds the soul and to cook for others should be the highest form of love. I didn't feel any love with this food I was scared...
Read moreFirst time here and young lady that took my order was polite with great customer service. Unfortunately, her shift had ended before my food was done. Once I return back inside to get my order, the young lady on the 2nd shift couldn't find it. Luckily my receipt was in the car. Then she admitted that my food was given to another customer and they had to remake my order. After asking her how long would it be, she stated she didn't know. The heffah didn't even attempt to give me an estimated timeframe. I had to ask her would it be 5 or 10 mins...Then once I returned back into the restaurant, as soon as she saw me, she immediately said the food wasn't ready and still couldn't give an estimated time after waiting a additional 15 mins.... So her co-worker decided to tell me that there's other customers waiting and not sure how much longer it would be for my food...The nerve of her!!!!! I begin to remind her that they had given my initial order away and my food should be a damn priority at this point!!!! I will definitely be calling to speak with the manager tomorrow that evening shift staff has no...
Read moreNot Hibachi, not even close. My wife and I have had take out Hibachi from several locations and have never had anything this bad, not even close. We had the steak and shrimp hibachi with fried rice and vegetables (cabbage, carrots and broccoli). Usually one of the compartments of the tray is veggies, one is meat and the big one is rice but not this place. The big one was rice with the meat on top and some sort of teriyaki type brown sauce on it. The "steak" was just chopped up meat (not chunks like you would expect) so don't think you are gonna dip it in yum yum sauce. Basically was like chopped up steak em. The shrimp and fried rice were ok but nothing special. The first small compartment was "veggies" which was just some cabbage, two thin slices of carrots and one tiny broccoli piece (and i mean TINY). The second small compartment was EMPTY. We dined in and while it was clean it was pretty dark and depressing. Worst Hibachi we have ever had by...
