IHOP — Restaurant in Georgia

My wife and I decided to eat here last night, Sunday after 7. We walked in and waited a good 8 to 10 minutes before we were sat at a table. The young man that sat us apologize for the wait, all the staff were in a back room for training. When our waiter showed up we ordered coffee and breakfast for dinner. Our coffee was cold. And our waiter did not come back to check on us. 15 minutes later I got up and walked to the back where they had training going on and asked if I could get some hot coffee please. A young woman got up and took the coffee pot I was holding and went ack into the kitchen. I noticed our waiter sitting in the back of the training room. I went back to our table and a few minutes later the young woman come out with a fresh hot pot of coffee and 2 new cups. A few minutes later our food came out. I ordered the sampler and it was good. My wife ordered 2 eggs, bacon well done and a waffle. Her bacon was not cooked well and was cold. The table behind us asked for the manager and it took the guy 10 minutes to come out and speak to the lady who sat alone. She complained about the service, (same waiter) and the food and her coffee. The guy in a t-shirt and slacks said he was a team lead and would comp her entire meal. The woman left. I then motioned for hm to come to our table and complained about the cold coffee and our service. But told him my mean was good. He comped our coffee.or waiter finally arrived back at out table and took our plates, I asked for the bill, as it was after 8pm. We waited for 12 minutes and he did not come back. I got another waitress attention and asked her to please bill me out. Within seconds sh had my bill with the coffee comped and I paid and left the building..... There were at least 10 to 15 employees at this location in the training area but we only saw 2 waitresses and our guy, all young under 20 for sure. Not sure what the problem was, but we were very disappointed in this IHOP. During covid this location closed down for a year and a lot of us locals were wondering if it would open back up. Since it did we have been to this IHOP several times, with great service and food. But as of now we just might spend the extra money and go to Applebees next door...

Worst experience ever! My daughter and I went in around 12:30 Sunday afternoon. We were told there was a 10min for a table and a 45min wait for food “understandable being Sunday” We decided to wait given the only reason we came was for the Grinch pancakes “she’s 4 and was excited” after waiting 20min we were seated. I noticed that there were a ton of empty tables around us and people walking in behind us were seated right away. “Whatever no big deal” Our server came over, we ordered “pancakes, eggs and hash browns” everything seemed to be smooth. I remembered I also needed a Togo order “reg pancakes” Placed the order with no worries” About 30min went by and I started noticeing everyone that came in after us had there food. About 45min in another Seaver came out with my Togo order. I informed her we had not even got our food yet she said she would go check. We are now over an hour with no food. People seated after us were leaving! Our server wasn’t to be found so I stoped another and asked to speak to the manager. He finally came out apologized and said that the tickets had gotten mixed up. At this point I just wanted my daughters damn grinch pancakes so I could leave! He I assured me our food would be right out. 15min later! Our server brought out our food “I’m attaching the photo of mine” and my daughters wasn’t right! They brought her reg pancakes and had the nerve to bring me a check with a 20% discount! Again I just wanted the grinch pancakes we were there for and to get out!! An hour 1/2 in they bring her correct cakes! It was so awful the couple sitting behind us came and asked if I was still being charged when I told her yes she laid 20$ on my table and said she had been watching and that the situation even made her mad! Are you serious! People around are noticing this too. I was as kind and respectful as possible being I had my daughter with me but once again asked for the manager. I agreed to pay for the TWO pancakes we ate but refused to pay for the other mess they had put on my table he agreed and said he would cover the whole visit. I gave the sweet couple there 20$ back and left! NEVER EVER AGAIN! Side note the bathroom smelled like a sewer!!...

We were sat at a table as soon as we walked in, thought okay it'll be speedy. It was not. My dad called and said he was 5 minutes up the road so he was gonna join us, we asked to move to a bigger table and the waitress rolled her eyes and moved up to just another booth. Then she went to the back and about 10 minutes passed, she didn't come back. We had to ask the dishwasher cleaning the table behind us to go get our waitress. There was something floating in my sister in laws mtn dew. It took forever to get another one. My sister's milk was sour so she asked for a water and sat without a drink until right before our food came out. My step mom and sister in law never got refills on their drink. I ordered a plain chicken biscuit and a side biscuit. She even asked if I wanted combos, I said no. She brought me a chicken biscuit (with hash browns and pickles, so not plain) on a plate with a side of french fries. I told them it was wrong, they threw the fries in the trash then brought me the same biscuit on the dirty plate. I told her my biscuit was still wrong, the other waitress helping her was very rude about that. My dad got a manager and she finally fixed my biscuit but my sister didn't even get her food (chicken quesadilla that was messed up when she got it) until we were all done eating. I will NOT be back to this location. The waitress was more worried about doing whatever she was doing in the back than attending to the TWO table that she had, because they were not busy at the time we were having our breakfast. I commend the manager for trying to fix our experience, but the waitress was too terrible. She shouldn't wor in customer service. We got to go boxes and still had to wait another 15 minutes for our check, for her to emerge from the...
