Shout out to Grandmas Pizzas in Dawsonville for saving the day for our Rec volleyball team party!!
I called Little Caesar’s earlier in the week and was told to call the day before to place our team order due to being short staffed. Today I called and the phone was answered by the manager who was immediately short tempered and rude. I told him I was calling in to place our team order and he told me he was too busy. I thought calling in like I was told to do was supposed to help that situation. Before I could finish explaining myself he again cut me off and told me to “take your business somewhere else” and hung up on me.
I walked into Grandmas NY Pizza and was greeted by Joe who treated me like family, even though I had never been there before. He gave amazing customer service and made sure my team and I were taken care of!!! Taking my business elsewhere resulted in a much better meal for my team.

Read moreThis is just miserable and pathetic. I ordered three pizzas from here; two being regular supreme pizzas, and one being the Grandma's Pie. In total, the cost was $58. Upon opening the box one of the supreme pizzas, the crust had flipped over on top of the pizza. The Grandma's Pie, however, was extraordinarily burnt and was tough to bite into. Turning each of the pizzas upside down reveals that the bottom had been burnt, resulting in complete blackness on the bottom of the crust.
This was my third visit here, and I question why my previous two visits were better than this visit. If you are looking for a spectacular pizza place that avoids burning your food to a crisp, then this place is definitely not for you. There are better pizza restaurants out there that have more cost-effective food, and probably will not treat you like a...
Read moreOur first time here. Family of 5. Our order was $70 - not a complaining. We ordered a few different items to try, so we would know in the future our favorites. While we waited on our food the gentleman that took our order took a phone order with a glove on his left hand holding the phone and nothing on his other hand. As he had his phone conversation he peered into the parking lot, took his non globe hand and proceeded to scrape his tongue with his finger nails as to remove something from his mouth. After he got off the phone he went back to make our salad without washing his hands. We ended up leaving without ever trying the food and will never go back. The guys in the back making the pizza appeared well kept, but the individual taking orders has no business in...
