Please don’t give your business to WZ Tavern; just take a moment and read the reviews on Google and Yelp and you’ll see this is not the place you want to go to. I should have known better when I saw the empty patio on Father’s Day ( see attached picture) but we took a chance anyways because my father-in-law said they have a variety of wing flavors here. We wanted to watch the game 7 of the NBA Playoffs with my wife, in laws and our dog who is a registered service dog. We sat down in the patio which was completely empty, not a single person there and our waitress came by and she was polite and nice and even asked to pet our dog. We informed her we wanted to watch the game and she quickly changed the channel for us. Two seconds later the host walks outside and informs us the manager said we can’t have our dog in the patio. We informed her he’s a registered service dog and showed his credentials to her and she said no problem and walked in. Two seconds later the hostess walks out again and says the manager informed her it doesn’t matter if the dog is registered they don’t allow dogs in the patio and if we wanted to stay there, there were tables on the side walk for us. We got up and took our business somewhere else. See attached picture of empty patio. My advice to the ownership is to get new management. Instead of worrying about registered service dogs at your patio, worry about the 80/100 health score you got and the several violations that were listed in there. And maybe read all the horrible reviews that everyone posts for you, maybe then your patio would not be empty on Father’s Day.

This was our first time here. We weren't greeted until I walked up for a menu, but we were early on a Friday late afternoon, so I'm okay with that. No problem. It's a nice chill 😎 atmosphere here. Good food. We had nice wait staff. There's a full bar. Average pours. We saw that others knew each other as they came in. Nice! A good local spot to drop in. Live music later in the evening. We got drinks, wine, and appetizers, and enjoyed the food. There's nice outdoor seating. There's a bar with a view outside to the patio. Parking is available if you're early. We enjoyed it and will return.

I really like this place (until the old Keegan’s/East Cobb Tavern returns) and their taps are good, but as of 9/25/22, they have an EXTREMELY limited menu (date printed is wrong on paper menu)
literally 5 things. Not sure if it’s staff related or just distribution for food. Just weird and May be a sign of the times. UPDATE: they are now Home Tavern and the menu is really amazing now. So many good choices and started to talk to the kitchen crew on their future food plans. Really excited to see how things turn out.

We ate at WZ on Sunday afternoon. Food was OK. Service was not good. Wait time for everything was way too long. When we got there, it was not crowded. We were the first people in the outside patio. It took a long time for someone to come to our table. Giving the drink order was a struggle for the server. After over 5 minutes, a manager came out (did not identify himself) and asked us again what drinks we ordered. Another 5 minutes to get them. He took the order, and again, it was a struggle.

During our very long wait for two burgers, we watched the tables fill up on the patio. Of 5 tables sat, 4 had to go get someone to wait on them after sitting there a good 5 to 10 minutes. Our server came out several times and did not acknowledge any other table, nor did he try to find out who was responsible for the tables.

When the server did come out, she told the first table that she had just came in. She talked A LOT and it took her a long time to take their order. I even heard he tell the customer that one of the items he asked about was not very good. She then went to the next table, which took way too long and then the third. Meanwhile, nothing from the first order (drinks or food) had been entered.

Also, there was a dirty table next to us, that everybody, including the manager, walked by.

As far as the food, the burgers were OK. They were not cooked medium as requested. The sweet potato waffle fries were not warm, probably sitting around. The trays the food came out on were a nice touch. When we were done, again, it took forever to get service. The server was waiting on a table next to us, but he went back and forth several times and we could not get his attention. It took about 10 minutes to get the check and the processing of the credit card.

We will go back again, but will wait for them to get the kinks out and to hopefully train...

We held a joint graduation party on the patio here this past month and it couldn't have gone any better. Between Morgan helping with the scheduling, Ashley as our chef and prep artist, and Sydney our server, it was all well-received. Marlin, the GM, and his staff made it so easy. We were able to come early to set up and decorate, and they took care of all the cleanup. We teamed up with our neighbors for our graduating seniors, and over the course of the afternoon we probably had around 100 people come through. Everyone commented about the food - we had a variety of wings, boneless wings, tenders and other finger food at Ashley's suggestion. She also allocated food based on our estimated numbers and it was pretty close to perfect. Luckily, we had a bit to take home and enjoy. The food was held at temp all afternoon and kept covered when possible. All the details were covered. I wouldn't hesitate to hold another function here. The patio is large enough to accommodate large parties, has a side gate to the parking lot which makes guest entry/exit super easy, and has a couple of TV's. The combination of the food and this incredible staff made the afternoon enjoyable and memorable. We were able to focus on guests, but also knew they were enjoying the cuisine by the number of repeat visits folks were making to the food! Thanks Ashley and team! Hope to see you for...
