Ok. They did it! They turned this place around. We have been three times and it has been consistent. Nice to have another restaurant in the area.
I've left my old review below so you can see what they have overcome.
Old comments...
I was excited that a Chipotle was built 5 minutes from our home. So sad it is the worst Chipotle I've ever experienced.
Slow service (understaffed), items not available and for the last few days their system is down, so no take out or dine-in by going inside. WHAT? Doors locked at noon today and a line of ten cars around the building.
I know there are off days, but a guy backing out of the parking lot today said he too was disappointed in this store. The reviews here are bad for months. If you are the owner, that is a HUGE red flag when your might-have-been customers just randomly share their frustration in your parking lot because they can't get inside for lunch.
No more. I am tired of trying...
Chipotle should send in a team to fix it. Quick.
UPDATE: So 8 months later, I thought I would give them a try. They offered me free guacamole in an email promotion. I went inside and the serving line looked a mess. I decided to turn around and walk out. Nothing's changed. Pretty sure I wouldn't want that guacamole.
UPDATE: There is a Chipotle in Roswell (corner of Hwy 9 and Mansell) that I have gone to for many, many years. It is a very well run Chipotle. Very consistent and helped me establish my preference for Chipotle food. If this store wants to have any hope of saving itself, I think they need to go over and study that operation from the inside and then come back and apply the principles. Then you need to have a big sign out front that says Under New Management and something to the effect of service guaranteed. Of course only do that once you've perfected what you've learned. Succeed at that and I will be a big proponent of your store and a...
Read moreAte here last Friday and it was an absolute disaster! The drive thru was packed so we decided to go in and order. There was one man ahead of us getting his order made, and we were up next. It took over 10 minutes for someone to greet us and ask us for our order. All of the containers that would typically hold meat and toppings most of them were completely empty, and this was at 7:15pm dinner rush. There were at least ten team members on staff. Finally a young man went to take our order, they were almost out of the barbarcoa so instead of going and grabbing more I was served a small serving, I knew there was more because they had a secondary station to prep drive thru orders. I also asked for black beans and avocado and were told they were sold out. My husband's tacos went much worse. He asked for carne was served carnitas and upon telling the young man that he served the incorrect meat, the young man argued with him and then asked if he needed to remake the tacos. Once my husband said yes the young man got a major attitude threw the taco plate and begun making new ones with carne left off lettuce and almost all toppings that were asked, made eye contact while slopping a ladle full of sour scream on each taco, it was so much sour cream I thought it was a joke. After asking for guacamole multiple times from various associates and watching it be packaged for the drive thru I was still told they were sold out, finally a woman came and brought a full container and still did not serve me guacamole. The service was absolutely horrendous I have never had to wait 45min for a salad from Chipotle. Management needs to come in and get this location operating the way it should. People were not using proper PPE i.e. gloves when handling food, nor were wearing masks over noses. I do not typically write negative reviews but this place is an operational...
Read moreComing back to openly regret saying the thing about watching y'all make the food so it's correct (I never actually did that of course). Now I see there is a trend to not only do this, but film it and put it on the internet. Stop it. That is a very aggressive invasion of their privacy, for one, and it's borderline harassment. So yeah, don't do what I said down below. That's grade school juvenile. Original review follows: First time we ordered I got a burrito bowl. It was good (but cold), and I was mostly impressed. Second time, I ordered the EXACT same thing. My order even had a neat little sticker with all 9 ingredients and my name on it. Problem is, there were only four ingredients in the bowl. Now I know why I have heard from others on the internet about what a joke this restaurant is. If you are trying to go out of business you are doing a spectacular job. In the current climate you excel with takeout food or you are replaced, and you just lost our money. And judging by your ratings you have lost most of the neighborhood. Step up or make room for a local restaurant, please. Also, after reading the other reviews it's no wonder this place is a disaster. The owner has a literal full time job responding to negative reviews on Google. UPDATE: Ordered from them again, but this time my husband was there to stare at everything they were doing. And my bowl was fine, and tasty (though they should either get higher quality steak or spend time trimming the fat off of it). Ultimately it's like a child cleaning their room - if you want it done right, you have to stand there and watch them do it. Not acceptable for a restaurant...
