One of the best places to eat in Thomasville! My family and I have been going for about 10 years and have never had a bad experience. The fact that they’re so consistent is plenty of reason to go but there’s also the food and the staff. It’s family owned and all of the staff are always very friendly and try to check on you often and refill drinks, chips, ask about the food, as well as not rush you to get out if you’re talking to friends or family. There’s almost always a fútbol game on the tv and usually music playing if there isn’t a game. There’s great natural light during the day and at night the lights inside aren’t blinding but plenty enough to see everything. The decorations are really nice and the artwork on the chairs and booths is really cool. Honestly, hands down some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. The salsa and queso for the corn tortilla chips is always great, food always comes out hot (be careful of hot plates but they let you know when they bring them out) and we’ve never had any issues with substitutions or asking to remove certain things like lettuce, tomatos, onions, etc, as well as adding things. Almost every order comes with rice, beans, and a salad. I’m a huge fan of their tacos and enchiladas with any meat combination. My mom usually just orders the next number down on the menu from the last thing she got and has loved everything (she’s finished the menu a few times). Also probably some of the best refried beans I’ve had as well. If you haven’t been to La Fogata and are passing through Thomasville I definitely recommend that you go!

Small portion sizes. This was $57 including a small bowl of cheese dip and a small plate of rice, beans and shredded salad. Food tasted good but just the small size compared to price would not make us a returning customer. Just the shrimp Veracruz meal was $17 with drink… And fajitas with drink was $17… That gives an idea of break down on the pricing.

Traditional Mexican eats, a cut above the usual. Not a fast food place, but you can get it to go if you're so inclined. Pleasant staff.

Eat here quite a bit (almost once a week sometimes more, rarely less) quality of food and service is hit or miss... Does not seem to matter if they are slammed or dead it could go either way. Today looked like they were slow for the lunch crowd yet had to wait over 10 mins before getting drink order taken, then another ~5 mins before chips and salsa (was watery, very tomato tasting and had very little spice/flavoring today 😢) were brought out after getting drinks (a sweet tea and water) One of the lunch specials ordered was a number 2, a taco, burrito, and chalupa, had to ask about the fillers and opted for the defaults beef, beef, bean respectively. When I see chapula I think fried flour tortilla shaped like a taco yet was served a tostada style thing (flat crunchy corn tortilla topped with refried beans, lettuce, tomato, guac) Over all was ok, had better from here and have...

My husband and I got take out last night 12/27. I ordered a taco salad with a extra shell. we have done this many times.. But last night the shells were stale. So. I wasn't driving all the way back to Thomasville I call them this morning just to let them know, not wanting anything. The men who asked the phone was so mad to me. We will not be going back. You might want to really check your food before you leave. If you call or take it back. It's your fault it's that way. I really like this place, I guess we'll try one of the other many Mexican restaurants in...
