Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant – Bridge Mill — Restaurant in Georgia

Terrible service from our server Chino. He was too busy speaking to the other server than to pay attention. In fact the other server was more attentive to us than our own server was! He told our son grilled chicken wasn’t a substitution for shredded chicken on the nachos. Not even for an up charge. He asked for chicken only and said shredded was fine and yet it still came out as beef, chicken and beans on top. Our other sons sour cream didn’t come with his taco as requested (which happens) but he didn’t tell us it was $1.50 charge, an extra charge fine but that’s expensive for one dollop of SC. Our daughter didn’t get the lime with her soup, when asked again he said yes then never brought it. He didn’t tell us the jalapeños with the cheese dip were an extra charge and $2 for a 8 jalapeños is crazy. The fajita taco salad I ordered barely had any chicken at the bottom or onions and the bell peppers were barely even cooked.

We go to the Las Palmas in cartersville and this one to that one is night and day. Will never return...

This is the first time I’d ever been to this Las Palmas location, and let me tell you, I’ll never return!! The amount of food this location gives you for the prices, is almost half that of the others. I asked for a SIDE of guacamole, and was charged TWO DOLLARS?! Crazy. Our server was not attentive at all. We waited thirty minutes for him to return to the table and ask if we needed anything (limes, refills and more salsa)... once he returned, he dropped our checks and once again... did not return. We waited almost 40 minutes until another staff member finally stopped and took them for us. All the while half the staff was gathered around the host stand laughing and playing on their phones. I’ve never written a bad review, but I’ve never been this upset with the service ANYWHERE!! Save yourself the time, and go to the Las Palmas in Holly Springs, they go above and beyond and the service is always great. Should’ve just gone there like we always do!! We came in and were seated promptly with a smile along with chips and salsa not even a minute after. Then we waited about 15 minutes before I got up and asked a nearby staff member if they could send a server to our table. The server that came had passed us several times before I ever asked about a server. My husband's crown and coke was literally watered down. After our meal of just so-so food (that she didn't even enter my order correctly), my husband then went to the bar to order his second drink himself because our server was MIA again. I had ONE strawberry mango margarita and we were charged THREE dollars extra for the flavor on a single $4.99 frozen margarita. A dollar extra, sure, but THREE? What a joke. What was suppused to be a nice little date night turned out to be an annoying ordeal. I really hope she's new or was just having an off night because if not, she should find something else...
