Not the best mexican food but it's a cool place to grab a quick bite and a decent margarita. And the staff is nice.
So, a response from the owner suggested I give the restaurant another opportunity to impress me. I did and was even more disappointed than the first time. I brought two friends along to enjoy dinner and drinks on Wednesday, May 1st around 4 pm. One ordered nachos and the other ordered a chicken quesadilla. All was good until they asked for mild salsa. I like the spicy salsa but they prefer mild. The sever didn't tell us that the mild salsa was not the same as the spicy so before tasting, my friend poured the mild salsa all over her nachos. After tasting she realized that she was not given salsa but instead something that tasted more like spaghetti sauce. She told the server we got the wrong sauce and the reply was, "that's how our mild salsa tastes...like spaghetti sauce". This wasn't known so us so my friend requested a new plate. No one told her the mild salsa was not salsa but instead spaghetti sauce. The manager came over and said, "Well, we did not make you put it on your food. You did that on your own so I cannot replace your meal for free. I can give you 50% off but not a new plate. You will have to pay full price if you want another plate". I swear on everything, she said those exact words. When I tell you I was floored. I was at a loss for words. So, you would rather lose 3 customers over a $9 plate of nachos than just fix the problem? I'm not a restaurant owner but I have been in customer service for many, many years and would never have said that to a customer. We weren't trying to get a free meal or cause problems. She just wanted to be able to eat what she had to pay for. Furthermore, if you know your spicy and mild salsas are not the same, then that should be disclosed especially if the customer is not a regular. I definitely will not return based on this recent event and I'm sure my friends won't return either. To the owner, please...
Read moreI have never had an issue with this restaurant, but best believe my last order I made will be my last. The customer service is beyond poor and I am flabbergasted by the way I was treated. I order the usual chicken nachos because I love their nachos and I have been eating it for years, but for some reason this time when I ate them it tasted off like it had been sitting too long or it wasn’t as fresh as the person cooking it made it off to be, and after eating it I got sick like really sick and this was my first time experiencing this. And for a person who eats the nachos as consistently as I did, I think I would know if I tasted something off. I called to let them know my issue and this chick answered the phone and was talking about me to another worker as if I couldn’t hear her in the back ground talking about me saying “she’s the only person complaining about our guacamole and our food” know that’s a damn lie and then somebody else answers it and says it’s made fresh everyday and your our first complaint and we’ve never had anyone complain before.... so we can’t do anything for you.... and then acted like she answered the phone again saying hello repeatedly, ignoring me and acting as though she couldn’t hear me so I could hang up. I don’t care if you don’t think the customer is right or not, in any restaurant it is not up for debate on a complaint, you apologize for the inconvience and offer a refund or a different meal. I work in a restaurant and in customer service and this is not at all okay how I was treated. So my advice, if you want to go here, be my guest just know your going to get poor customer service. I swear I tried to keep my composure and not call her out her name but she really had me and my life messed up with how disrespectful she was, it was completely uncalled for and because of her they have lost a long time customer. I will not be back anytime...
Read moreI just left or rather walked out of the restaurant. My boys were so excited about taco Tuesday and since we only live about 5 minutes away from Los Arcos, we decided to give it a shot. We were seated fairly quickly but it took 20 minutes of us sitting there with no one coming over for me to finally get up and ask for a server. When she finally came over I thought we were making some progress until it was another 10 minutes and we still didn’t even have our drinks. I spoke with another server who said he would go find our server. Then this guy comes over with this massive tray of food which looked great but was completely wrong from what we ordered. The server finally comes back over, this time with a pad and pen to write down our order. As she’s writing down the order I could tell she was completely lost. I asked if in the meantime she would just bring over my kids drinks, she responded with “I got you,” which initially had me thinking that maybe things would get better...but oh was I wrong. The guy from the kitchen comes back out with the same tray of food, only this time he’s insisting we take the already prepared food and wait for the remaining order. That would’ve been all good if the food wasn’t cold and hadn’t been ushered around the restaurant for 10 minutes. At that point I decided it was time to go. From one business owner to another, you guys really need to get better customer service and maybe some more hospitality training for some of your staff. I was highly dissatisfied and...
