American Deli — Restaurant in Marietta

Horrible experience! Horrible customer service! If I could give 0 or negative stars I would! The girl on the cashier had an attitude as if she didn’t want to be there (no reason to take it out on me) I ordered shrimp fried rice with 5pc wings mild w/ lemon pepper sprinkle. I asked for all flats and extra crispy with ranch (what i always get) When i checked my wings they did not look extra crispy to me so i kindly asked if the cook could put them back in the fryer. He said no because there was already sauce on them, which is understandable. So i asked if he could make me another 5 wings and he said no to that also. I then asked for a refund because i refuse to eat something that i did not order. If I am paying with my hard earned money I want to receive what i am asking for. He said that the girl did not ring in “extra crispy” therefore i did not ask for it. I then proceeded to tell him that she probably did not hear me say extra crispy because she also did not hear me ask for no ice in my drink and she had to pour it out and make a new one and maybe listen was all due to her pour listening skills. The manager/cook then began to argue with me putting his finger in my face and yelling at me! He refused to make me new food or give me my money back! I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! Go to another location or just eat somewhere different in general! Horrible...

I love American Deli! They have my favorite wings. But this location is by far the worst. DO NOT eat here. The first time I came, the wings were old, had no sauce and was not edible. Not to mention the two cashier's up front were eating their lunch while still handling customers orders without gloves. I figured it was a one off. Went tonight and the same two young women are drinking their drinks, while tasting each others drink and eating behind the counter where food and drinks are being prepared. One even picked up her cell phone and phone charger off the floor, which we all know is nasty, and then fixed food without washing her hands or gloves.. Considering the state of COVID this is not sanitary. The food looked much better this time but I still will not eat here again. Even if this wasn't during the time of a pandemic, their handling of the food was...

I placed a large order with them. I use two methods of payment( cash and a debit card) the cashier obviously did not know how to process the two payments. I was overcharged $.40 on my debit card. She claimed "your balances on this card is only $.40."! ( which she charged to the card) It went down hill after that.!! We all know the bank does not give a merchant your bank acct. bal. plus my acct. had sufficient funds to cover the amount. She went on to take the cash with a different debit card. She overcharged that debit card and had to refunded me the overcharge in cash.( she had NO idea how to reverse the charges back the card). She Still failed to refund me the $.40 from the first card.
