Today my children and I visited this McDonald's early in the morning so the children could play inside while it rained. We live very close and had previously been to this McDonald's many times and I was previously very pleased with how clean the children's area is, but we have not been there in the past several months. Unfortunately today the area was absolutely filthy and NOT what you would expect from a McDonald's in this part of town. Despite us arriving to play and eat close to 9 am, the play area was filthy. There was old french fries that clearly weren't from today in a couple of places. There were crumbs and grime everywhere. The floor was so filthy that the grease from the food caused my sneakers to slip and slide on the tile. The children's play equipment was covered in food crumbs, dirt and dust. They stored the long florescent lightbulbs with the tops less than 1/2 inch from the climbing portion of the play structure (in the back locked portion) but barely pushing on the play enclosure you could touch it so a child who may bump in the play area or (behaving like a curious kid) may poke something through the play structure holes could very easily risk breaking those lights (and as someone who previously owned a business using these lights I know how far the pieces of those lights can go if accidentally bumped and shattered). The seats of several booths had rips and large gouges. The seats and booths weren't clean and there was a lot of crumbs, dirt and grime visible. The bathroom located within the play area was even worse. The ground was filthy, the trash can was overflowing, and the odor from the trash that clearly hadn't been emptied spilled over into the play area making the whole play area and bathroom smell like a week old diaper pale combined with a sweaty locker room.... not exactly the smell you want to smell when eating. The game tablets they previously had mounted to the walls are now also gone and left behind are the metal brackets that used to hold them. I will say that the folks behind the counter were friendly, the service was fast, and the food tasted good... but we left early because the filth and odor was too much. Another mom with 2 kids came and left too after seeing the filth and she didn't even bother to order anything after seeing the condition of the play area. I would have done the same except I had already ordered. I only gave 2 stars because the people were friendly and service was good... but the filth and condition of the play area and attached bathroom is what lost the other stars. I won't be back unless I hear they've made very big changes to make sure the kids area is clean and sanitized. No one wants their kids...
Read moreI don't go to McDonalds often but I rarely have trouble out of most of them... All except for this McDonalds. Every time I have gone they have messed up my order. Last time I went I said it would be my last because after I went in to get my order fixed which included multiple problems, the girl at the counter attempted to educate me on how I should have ordered it so it would have been correct. While I would have normally accepted advice, this girl did so with a very condescending attitude. After I explained why I ordered the way I did she gave me the fake "I hate you" smile and continued to explain why I was wrong. I'm not even that old and I still felt like an old man thinking "do people just not know good customer service anymore?" After a few back and forth words where I did nothing but stand my ground and finally lost my temper and told her I was going to order it how I wanted. She then went and loudly complained to the rest of the staff about me that was loud enough for the rest of the restaurant to hear. Finally the manager, who looked much younger than her and probably felt super awkward about the situation, asked to help me. I explained everything and then he proceeded to do what she tried to do but in a kind way. I was receptive to how he explained it and thanked him and told him that I wasn't even upset the food was messed up. I didn't get upset until she argued with me and talked down to me. After that I never planned on returning but today... I was in a hurry..
Ordered online long before I got there. Went inside and saw the girl from before and didn't want to be awkward so I went through the drive thru instead. The line took forever for one but I've come to expect slow service from this McDonalds. When I got my order the guy at the window didn't even try to look in my direction and just said "yup." So whatever. Wasn't really expecting the most polite people here... But of course again my order was wrong. And not even the special part of my order... I got a double bacon quarter pounder with special requests about it and all the special requests were right even the no cheese (which was the issue last time). Instead they just forgot the bacon... That ingredient is in the title of the sandwich.
I don't get it. Why is this McDonalds so much worse than all other McDonalds?
Girl with the green hair gets an F. Manager on first visit gets an A-. Remedied the situation but showed up late. He was great though. He could be an excellent manager with a little more experience. Guy with dreads in the drive thru today gets a C. Rude but he doesn't compare to green hair girl. Overall the place gets an F...
Read moreMy disabled (double amputee) husband and 10yo son visited this location today. He ordered a 10pc nugget and shake for my son and a lg mocha frappe for himself. It took 20 minutes in the drive through to get this order right after random additions of things he had not asked for. At the window, my husband paid for the order and was given my son’s nuggets and shake and very rudely told “bye”. My husband asked for his frappe. After another 10 minutes, he was told the machine was broken. Obviously irritated by the length of time and rudeness, my husband asked for his money back on the frappe and was told he could bounce and the window was slammed shut. My husband parked and wheeled into the restaurant to retrieve his refund on the frappe. He was met by a very ugly, foul mouthed female who began her statement with “I am tired of you people”. During her vulgar tirade she failed to notice or simply did not care that my 10yo child was listening to her filthy language skills, the restaurant was full of people and she lost this franchise sales from four customers who walked out the door. My husband was also told not to come back to that store which is obviously not going to be a problem. I’m more of a Burger King person so it is of no great loss for me either, but I will absolutely spread the word to our friends, family, and neighbors and continue to search for Cindy Levine and Josh Frankel’s contact information to inform them of this encounter at...
