Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Georgia

I wish I could have gotten their names but I’ll get them next time because I will return. I drove from Stone Mountain and ended up at that location by mistake. It had to be the Lord. Anyway, from the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a pleasant welcoming greeting. I believe he was the manager but I’m unsure he had a system that made the long line not so long. It flowed smoothly. He was able to take orders, give orders and cook with grace. It was four employees whom were all kind and handled the busy rush like it wasn’t rush hour (after 5pm rush). I haven’t had service like that since before covid, the 90s.

I don’t like to eat out much since the service, quality and prices suck but this experience changed my mind. When I do want fast food I am definitely going back. On top of all that once I got home to eat the food was superb!!! The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. I enjoyed it dearly!!! Thank you Moe’s at Chamblee Tucker, may God bless the staff and the restaurant!!!

Oh yeah almost forgot, when the young man returned from the back, I saw him wash his hands then put on his gloves to come help with the long line. That was the cherry on top. 🥰 it was all worth the 30 minute drive.

I usually love a Moe’s bowl. This is the first time ordering one from this location on Chamblee Tucker Rd / Emby Hills- uugghh !! It was surprisingly subpar to the location I love on High Howell Rd( always predictably delicious). Vegetables not diced, chicken was barely noticeable and very scarce, the preferred ingredients were not adhered to, the black beans were watery, made two separate orders but the salsas and chips were ALL placed in ONE big brown bag and I had to separate it myself by dividing some in the plastic bag and leaving the rest in the brown bag, … it was a completely aweful mess! That was very disappointing!! I will not return to that location again. Even though my usual location is 20 minutes about of the way for me now that I have moved, I would GLADLY go there to get my Moe’s knowing that I don’t have to be concerned about the quality, quantity, and...

It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten at Moe’s. Saw it on DoorDash and I thought I’d give it a try again. Ordered the “Home Wrecker Bowl” with the Chips & Salsa, and a couple cookies. The order arrived quickly, complete and correct, and packaged well for delivery.

The bowl customization included the steak (and chicken for minimal extra cost), seasoned rice, black beans, pico, roasted corn pico, grilled onions & peppers, shredded lettuce, grilled mushrooms, pickled jalapeño, guacamole, and sour cream. Though the word “fresh” is way overused in food reviews, it really fits here. Everything blended well together and was delicious.

The free chips were nice and crispy, and complimented everything else well. Salsa had a small kick but was not overwhelming. Cookies (Snickerdoodle) were nothing special, but good.
