Nancy's Pizza Lawrenceville — Restaurant in Georgia

Ive waited for some time to leave my review and I really wanted to love this place. Our last order made was an Uber eats delivery when we received our pie it was inedible (for us) the pie reminded me of wine grapes that had been mushed by foot. The pie had not been cut and when we attempted to lift what we thought was a slice the pie collapsed into a sloppy unappetizing mess. The bottom crust was soggy and so seemed undercooked- we couldn’t place the pie in the oven and cut ourselves due to how messy. Realizing something is wrong in the kitchen I called for a manager. Some time later a pretentious woman calls says she’s part owner and first tries to blame the Uber driver. After firmly pointing out the issues are in the kitchen and also sharing with her a previous issue I had with how my pie was prepared on a previous order- she said “you better be nice to me” my husband listening gasped both of us thinking she was the one not being nice. It was somewhat comical but also annoying. After sharing photos and spending too much of my time speaking with her she said to give Uber a call for the refund. We did and we received a full refund on the pie and delivery. Fellinis pizza although, far is probably the best pizza in Atlanta. I’m grateful for the twin cities just one more exit up in Suwannee. Pizannos in norcross had been wonderful. I haven’t been able to bring myself to order from Nancy again. However, Pasta is decent and so are the bread sticks. I got the large Uncle Tony's deep dish. There's not much to say other than in my opinion the deep dish (stuffed pizza) is not worth the price. Again, in my opinion I have had much better deep dish for less. It would be ok for maybe $20 but not much more than that. But for their $50? no way. Way too much of a cheese taste. The sauce was bland. The crust is nothing to wow over. The ingredients was hard to notice. There's just nothing special or wow about the pizza to cost 50 dollars. I was tired of the taste before I could finish the second slice. Also the pizza is not as deep as the picture shows. It was only like an inch and a half deep while the crust on the edge went up 2 inches. I'm not trying to bash this place at all. This is a review of my opinion and I'm sorry if I offend anyone but reviews are supposed to be honest.

No I didn't order through a "third party" website. I ordered through your own website. Nice try though. I see that you don't take constructive criticism well as you're offended by my review. The pizza did look good though. I'll give you that. But that's as far as good went. Sorry my review wasn't a 5 star "you're the greatest" review. Beware, the owner in all of these comments is always saying "order through the website", its cheaper, it's better. Blah blah. Well I did. Estimated arrival of 7:31 PM. I went outside to meet driver/try and find out where the pie was around 7:45 PM. I called the store at 7:54 PM. Girl on the phone stated the drive left about 12 minutes ago. Ok cool. I waited outside until 8:30PM when i called and asked for refund. Girl apologized and stated they use DOOR DASH for delivery and she would give me a refund. All is well. Whatever. As I was walking back in, I see a white pizza box in the corner of the lobby on a white table. The driver, instead of calling, instead of giving it to the front desk attendants, set it on the far side of the lobby. About this time, girl from the store came back and said the Door Dash driver delivered it. I confirmed, and told her I actually just found it, so now I have a cold over priced pizza. Then the girl on the phone has the audacity to say "so you don't actually need a refund then since you got the food." Wow, yeah thanks for the cold pie that your 3rd party driver hid.. Don't recommend this place at all based purely on the customer service. So now I've paid $110 for 1 large pepperini pizza. (Im sure one of those charges will drop off, their online system is trash though too so get ready for that if you're ordering online. Won't ever...
