Came in on a Friday around 1130, not busy, was greeted quickly, and it gave me homey vibes, the cashier was having a conversation with what it seemed like to be a regular, the floor was sticky, I did notice that. It is a refurbished Golden Corral and the set up is familiar. Hot food side, salad bar, and dessert bar. The hot bar has so many different options! Greens , blackeye peas, cornbread, rice, cabbage, taco bar, fried green tomatoes, fried fish, fried shrimp,(which was delicious), mac cheese, broccoli cheese and rice casserole, shrimp fried rice, veggie fried rice, bourbon chicken, teriyaki chicken, neckbones, steamed crawfish, pot roast, shrimp cocktail.... just everything!! The salad bar had 2 types of lettuce as ell as ur standard salad fixings, pasta salad, potato salad, jello... Dessert bar several different varieties of sliced cake.. carrot, chocolate, and a pink iced cake. As well as cookies , banana pudding , bread pudding and peach cobbler (which was also delicious). And also a slushie machine!! And a popcorn machine! I didn't see an ice cream machine, but they do have a variety of ice cream ream bars in a freezer unit right next to the bar. Everything I had was pretty decent. I enjoyed the huge variety. Service was ok. She did come.a check on us a couple of times. I do like how the have the silverware and plates set up as well as hand sanitizer station. It's something for everyone there. I would visit again if I was on that side of town.

Hear me out. I got full. On a Friday it’s $16 per for Dinner w/water. That’s fair for Friday Dinner Buffet. Sit anywhere, plates good size, server came quickly. There were a lot of servers congregating but they were nice and what do you expect when it’s a lil slow which is tough when you’re in the tip money business. Several options, really a lot of options which is great. I might’ve tried 25 items. I was full for hours and had the instant itis 💤. Hate the chicken and the pig statue out front. Wish I could leave a tip on my card. Cashapp em. Some items can get salty (mushrooms). Some items lose their crunch (skins). Didn’t care for the steak bites-lacked seasoning and looked play-play, wish they had steak grill with chef. It’s obvious that the company is ordering large canned products (tomatoes in okra stew) and big bags (collard greens had many big stems). Many hit or miss items. I’d rather they reduce the items and increase the value. It’s a great idea to be a huge attraction on a busy road offering hot variety food w/veggies ready now. Quality will increase reviews, sales, tips, everything.

My visit was okay, overall. The variety of items was amazing and the buffets were clean but a lot of items were out and were not replenished throughout our entire visit. The cold bar was fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed the options. The hot bar looked good but everything I actually wanted was unavailable. Maybe it was the wrong day for cornbread dressing. And I would have loved to try the cabbage, salmon, and broccoli and rice, all of which remained empty. The hot item that I enjoyed the most was the fried chicken livers! They were delicious! The hot items that I enjoyed the least were the collards and mac and cheese. My daughter enjoyed her nachos! Aside from the food, we must have sat in the "no waitress" section. We had to get slushies from the machine in order to have something to drink. We were halfway done with our visit before beverages were served. And no one ever returned to check on us. I'll give it another try on another day and hopefully have a better experience.

Fresh, hot, and delicious tasty food. Ready for whatever you are looking for. They have it on the buffet. From neck bones, chicken livers to pig feet to country boil, not to mention they have the Asian foods covered as well as the Hispanic foods. So everyone in your party should be completely happy and satisfied with this choice if you need one place and everyone can't decide. Just stop on by and fill up with the good food they have, and then don't forget to try their desserts. They also have slushies and popcorn. The only problem I see when I go here is that they always have such good selections of shrimp, catfish, and salmon, not to mention tons of other good selections. I always stuff myself. This is why I usually don't do buffets...however I make an exception for this one. GREAT JOB Old Tyme Grill!!!

I am giving this place 5 stars because i have come to realize my kids have kids' taste buds. Therefore, they don't appreciate....gourmet restaurants. They just want chicken...fries..shrimp..jello and pudding basically everything this buffet offered. For once, I did not have to force anyone to eat because everyone ate what they wanted... drank what they wanted and got 2nds and 3rds <lol> as they seemed fit. My husband ate the pigs feet, and he said it was ok. I ate a few broiled shrimp...overall a 10/10 because the kids were satisfied and happy. Defiently will keep this place in mind when it comes to our weekend family dinner restaurant. Service was ok.. The cook servers were actually pretty friendly... Everyone sincerely asked, "How are you doing?" Kind of caught me off guard, lol

We celebrated my dad’s 70th birthday here and this was my first time here. Needless to say that I will be back! The staff was so friendly, attentive and the cooks never allowed for the line to be without full. Thank YOU Old Tyme Grill & Buffet!
