Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Georgia

I sometimes I forget why I don't order from this place, then I order, and it all comes back to me.

I ordered a pizza, garlic knots, cookie, extra pizza sauce, and extra pepperocinis. My order requests to go to the carport door, it’s printed on the order. The delivery guy, goes to the wrong door. I have to go around and tell him to come to the other door, as per on the order. I confirm that the extra peppers and sauce were there. Yes, they're in the box, he confirms. I go inside and check, but they are not in the boxes, oh, and where is the cookie?

The guy hadn't left yet, I ask about the missing items. He calls the store manager, who tells me to go pick them up myself. I just paid for delivery fee and tip and they want me to pick it up the rest of the order myself? This is what I'm saying. I say, just give me $12 back for the missing items, but they can't do that, they can deliver a partial order, but they can't give a partial refund. They probably just don't know how to do it.

I also had explained to the delivery guy that he needs to check the orders before he delivers them. That’s not his job, he says. He is the final point of sale, tip dependent, but takes no responsibility for anything. He was a nice guy, and told me that he was willing to get the items, and I believed him, but home base wasn’t ok with that, I guess.

I know orders get messed up all the time, but it's the stupid people that can't be fixed. They wanted their pizza and garlic knots back in exchange for my $40 back. I’m a good tipper, I start at 20%. It takes a lot for me to tip less. I offered to just forget the missing items, but refund me; or bring me the missing items. But nothing worked. OK. Here's your pizza and your garlic knots. ...

I will not order from this location ever again. I received the worst garlic bread sticks. They were hard and flavorless on the outside but doughy and not cooked on the inside. Also, their wings weren't the best. But, when I called I only complained about the bread. The lady who answered the phone said she would refund me for the bread and apologized. The next day when I saw the pending charge go through but no credit, I called back. I explained about my credit to three people before the lady who supposedly issued it got on the phone. This conversation was totally different from the previous day as it bordered on rude. She abruptly pointed out I only told her about the bread sticks. I never mentioned anything else other than the bread sticks. I don't know why she had a tone with me. Then she told me it could take up to 10 days to get the refund. I find this information false because Discover processes refunds quickly. But, the issue ended up being the amount of the refund which was $3 less than I paid. Instead of listening to me explain that the discount was not for the bread sticks she was hurrying to get me off the phone. I'm usually of the mindset every penny counts and would want all my money back. I quickly realized how uncooperative the lady was and it would be a waste of my time having a further discussion about the wrong amount for the credit. I told her nevermind I won't be dealing with...

Ordered the papadias...came with no fillings. Called the store after being on hold for 5 minutes someone answered the phone and I asked to speak to the manager...someone claiming to be the manager fumbles around trying to find my order...puts me on hold and Christy answers the phone and ask if she can help me. Told her I was speaking to Corey...she said yes he passed you to me. So I explain everything to her now. She says she will re send. After an hour the "replacement" arrives. No dipping sauce, no sauce on the papadia. The pics are from the original and the replacements...can't tell the difference. Both "managers" had attitudes so I did not bother to call again...wanted to eat tonight. Will probably not patronize this location again. When I questioned the customer service...was told 'our customer service is great. Update- Since this post I received an Email from corporate advising that things would improve. I have ordered several times since and EVERY time my food is appealing, hot and fresh. And actually shows up sooner than they say....
