I’m the cashier in question @Tyler Alexis speaks of. I’m afraid this customer is someone who has fabricated the circumstances of our encounter. Ms Alexis called a takeout order in, as routine I read the order back (a necessity to give her the order total) with that being the first time I read it back. Her boyfriend (and not her, as she claims) came in and payed, I read it back to him (while he stood on his phone ignoring me the second time I read it back) as he payed for it and waited for it to come out. The food couldn’t have been sitting on the counter behind me as it hadn’t even come out yet. When it did come out roughly 10 minutes later her boyfriend insisted the order i’d read back twice wasn’t what they’d ordered, but as I was the one who handled all interaction with said order I knew that the order had been taken with 100% accuracy and calmly explained that as it was no fault of the store they would have to order another. The boyfriend refused, so I stepped to the back and spoke with a manager who instructed me to fix the order anyway. Upon returning to the front to help the customer the “boyfriend” had stolen my tips out of the jar on the counter. I had his remade order on the counter and asked him for my tips back in exchange for his order to which he replied “after you give me my food I’ll give you your tips”. The situation was beginning to escalate beyond my means, Realizing the situation was out of my control, I contacted the police to mediate the situation. They came and banned him from the premises and we refunded him his order in full, something we have documents and camera evidence to back. Please understand that customer service is top priority at the I love wings, and as easy as it would’ve been to delete your comment and carry on as nothing ever happened we’d much rather acknowledge you, be honest and transparent, and have our good food and work stand for itself, something not many other companies would think of doing. Upon refunding the order in full, letting your boyfriend keep the tips, and still receiving an apology from the store owners personally it is disheartening to see your comment. None the less things happen, everyone has their day, and some things just come with the territory of running a business. Read moreThey don't even deserve 1 star. The very same thing that happened to Chamonica Peoples on her review below happened to me tonight! I have been loyal to this place and even referred friends. I have placed many pick up orders as well as had Uber Eats deliver their food and my business is not appreciated. I called in a order and my son went to get it. It was incorrect and my son told the cashier it was. She told my son the manager was watching them and they could not remake the order. He told me this and I call. She says she swore I said that I'd ordered what was given and had even repeated it back to me when I never ordered what I got and what was repeated back to me was exactly what I had ordered! It was as if she was saying that I was lying about what I'd ordered. I asked for a refund and she said they couldn't do that either! So basically I was going to have eat what I didn't order and lose my money. I told her I was a regular customer and this was just wrong and bad for business. She said she understood but she'd called the manager(after telling my son the manager was there and watching them mind you) and she said they couldn't refund my money OR fix the order.
They have lost another good customer and I have told my family and friends to stay away. The food was always great and I'll miss it, but to be called a liar when I know what I ordered and not get my money back is horrible customer service and disgusting. She told me I could come in and talk to the mgr the next day. For what?! She already said she wldnt fix my order or give me my money back! Read moreLoyal Customer Lost!! I will never order from I Heart Wings, Lilburn location ever again! Keep in mind this is a restaurant that my family and I order from multiple times a week! I placed an order and my order was blatantly incorrect and not fresh, even though my receipt states my correct order, but clearly the person preparing the food did not read the order. I do have pictures, a video, and the incorrect food that was never eaten as proof! I reached out to the Lilburn location immediately and I was told that I would have to drive back up there to get the correct order, but they couldn’t replace it or give me my money back because the owner would have to approve that refund/exchange and the owner will not be in til the next day! The next day, I had to be inconvenienced, take time out of my day to reach out to the restaurant and the female employee was condescending, rude, and unprofessional!
