We had a party of 12 dining in at the location shown in the photo above this evening to celebrate my mother's birthday. What was supposed to be a joyous occasion was dampened by multiple things that occurred. To make it easier, I will list below. I do want to stress that our waitress was NOT the issue in any way.
We did call ahead for 6:30 and everyone was there and early. We were there for a little over 2 hours. The first issue was they were out of popcorn shrimp. How is that even possible? It's a Monday evening, a lot of kids who eat seafood eat the popcorn shrimp, not to mention it was an option on the endless shrimp menu. With his first choice out, my son went for a side of the bacon Mac and cheese. There were also 3 adults who wanted it as a side dish for their meals. After being there for over half an hour, we were told they just ran out of the bacon Mac and cheese. đ¤Śââď¸ Now my son has had to be told he couldn't have either of his food choices. So he ended up eating a little of this and that from our plates, he is 8! My brother ordered a rare steak, when he came out it was medium. The waitress took the meal back and a couple I please moments later, the manager comes out holding the plate and says "there's blood coming out of it so,.." No apologies or anything. The manner in which she said it was trying to imply ignorance on his part of not know the temperature at which the steak was cooked. He sent it back and canceled the steak. My brother decided to try the Alfredo (he nor I eat seafood) after I told him mine was good. His came out with a LOT more sauce and tasted of almost pure garlic. Needless to say, he didn't eat that either. At not point did the manager offer any kind of apology for all the problems we experienced. During the 2+ hours we were there, our waitress did the best she could. When all of our meals were ready, one person carried two sides out and that was it. The manager should have offered to help bring out entrees or at the bare minimum offer to get refills. Upon leaving the restaurant, the rude manager was sitting in the waiting area. Did she acknowledge our departure?? No, but the hostess did.
This was an awful experience. We will NOT be back to this location any time in the near future. We will travel to the one that is actually a bit closer to us, but we much better customer service if we want to get this chain another chance. I would recommend reevaluating the leaders in place at this location.    Read moreSo, I wanted something light, and decided to go with Red Lobster on Hwy 78 in Snellville, which is very close to home. I went online and put in my zip to get an updated menu. I come to a ânew itemâ Chilled Lobster Claw and Shrimp Cocktail. The description literally says âChilled Maine lobster claws with JUMBO shrimp, $14.99. So, I decided to call it, along with a half dozen biscuits. I was told it would take 33 minutes. I waited, and went to pick up my order. You would not believe what I saw. I had 2 claws and 4 shrimp. The shrimp was smaller than the slice of lemons they placed with the order. The shrimp were NOT JUMBO. I donât even believe they were large. Iâd made a complaint to the hostess who was ringing me up. Sheâd ask if I would like to speak to the manager? And, I replied yes, of course. She was going to have to get them anyways, to place my military discount. I asked the manager about the size discrepancy? I showed him what was stated in the description, which is what I went by when I decided to order. He first stated that they are âexactly whatâs in the pictureâ, that I âshould have knownâ it was the âusual shrimpâ they used for their cocktail shrimp by looking at the picture. I then explained I placed my order online, and there was no picture. I proceeded to open my phone and asked if he would like to see the screen I viewed when ordering? Mind you, we all were looking at the description on the menu inside the restaurant. He then stated, they were the large shrimp and ONLY shrimp they have. He âcant help what description is typed on the menuâ. đ This was the GENERAL Manager, Mr. Larry Webb making this statement. He said the only thing he can do is give me a couple more shrimp, and asked if I would like him to do so? I stated yes. He left and came back with 4 more shrimp. I could not believe this. The female gave me my total and I paid $20 for 8 small shrimp and 2 small claws. I was disgusted. I asked for a card to make a complaint. She gave me the card of the Culinary Manager, Raquel Ramirez. Then, Iâd ask for the GMâs name, so she gave it, then asked if I would like a card with his name, and I stated YES.    Read moreMy husband and I ate at this Red Lobster location last night (2/22/2020). As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted warmly by the hostess and the wait was less than ten minutes which was amazing for a Saturday night!
As soon as we got to our table our waitress was there to get our drink orders. Within a few minutes we had our drinks and she took our orders. She was especially kind and understanding with me as she took my order because I have food allergies. She went back over the order with me to make sure she had it written down correctly.
She was prompt bringing out our salads and bread. She always kept our tea glasses filled and our food was ready just as we finished our salads. She had our food exactly as ordered and checked on us several times during our meal.
She was one of the best servers we've had in a long time and I wish I could have remembered her name but we had just come from the funeral home down the street where we had a death in the family so my mind was occupied.
We were seated in a room off from the main dining room in a booth next to the windows, table 26 and the time on our receipt was 9:09pm, Check # 17622. Hopefully you can track our waitress by that information because she is an excellent waitress and a lovely person!
It was just what we needed last night and we wanted to thank her for being so kind and understanding.
I highly recommend this location, we love Red Lobster and have been to many different locations but the service and food at this location went above...
