Worst experience I have every received from this company. Placed some items on layaway for my trip this weekend to PR, went to pick up my layaway (which wasn't scheduled to be returned until Jul-18) and finish up some shopping before work......NO LAY-A-WAY!! I gave the cashier my original receipt in which she could not find it in the system. Red Flag #1 then she brings another associate over who explained it "should" be in the back. Cashier leaves only to return to tell me she cannot locate my items. I then ask for a manager who I was told was in the middle of an interview and to return tomorrow. I advised that I understand management may be in an interview, but I was not leaving without my items today. Then the manager arrives and she goes to the back to locate my layaway, she later returns with the same excuse that she doesn't "see" in the back and she has no idea what happened. How are you the manager and you don't know what happened? I would have accepted that excuse from a cashier, but not a member of management. I was so frustrated and upset I simply asked for my money as I was running late for work. I have shopped for years from Burlington and even worked at the Columbia, SC location and I have NEVER in my life experienced anything like I did today. I came to this location expecting professionalism and accountability, but what I received was treatment I would expect to receive from one of their "urban" stores. Then speaking with corporate wasn't any better as the agent on the phone was too busy explaining that they had no control and she was the supervisor. UNACCEPTABLE and RIDICULOUS! Completely...

I was extremely disappointed with my visit. Due to renovations, the entire store was rearranged, but the restroom conditions were absolutely unacceptable. It appeared as though it hadn’t been cleaned in days—feces, tissue, and urine on the floor…tissue flooding the toilets —and there was no running water to wash your hands.
I approached a cashier to ask if they had sanitizer available. They referred me to the manager on duty (MOD), who was only a few registers away. Sparing the details of what was witnessed since there were customers around, I simply asked if sanitizer was available. Instead of a simple solution, her attitude was dismissive. While helping another customer, she responded with a sharp tone: “I’ll deal with you when I’m done with my customer.” Considering the circumstances, a quick hand-off of sanitizer would have sufficed, but her approach was unprofessional and unhelpful.
After that unpleasant restroom experience, combined with the lack of customer service, I could not continue shopping. Renovations are no excuse for neglecting basic cleanliness and hygiene—especially when there’s no running water.

Read more7/22/2024 at 9:45 pm I came into the store to return 2 juicy couture pajama sets I bought Saturday from the Burlington location on 124. The items were a medium and too big. I initially purchased the items 7/19/24 . I watched her count all the drawers while I was in line waiting. Only 1 register was open and it was register 5. The manager opens up register 2 to assist me. I gave her my receipt and the items were still in the bag with the tags on them. Never worn. She Insist that I would only get a “GIFT CARD” bc there system isn’t updated but in reality she didn’t want to refund me because I paid cash and she would have to refund me cash and she didn’t want to count her drawer again. She mad a whole lie up and for her to be a manager is a disgrace. She straight lied to my face because she wanted to be lazy and not do her job ! She didn’t refund me and she also told me I need to take it back to the location I brought it from. She needs to be dealt with for lying for no reason and having a nasty attitude.
