$50 got me a bowl of steamed rice. A glass of water, A handful of fat and some meat pieces, A handful of vegetables and a small saki. Very insulting behavior of the Hostess.
I went with friends for a Birthday Party. Everyone was hungry. I walked in prepared to pay for my food and my friends. Of the group I was the only one that didn't want to buy alchahol. Our House mom taking the order was obviously not happy with this and working in kitchens for 20 years I could tell she sized me up as if I was cheap. I ordered Sushi and they brought me a pre made roll from the refrigerator. I tried not to feel insulted but I was skipped while others ordered several times and quickly realized I was singled out to have poor service and even after ordering drinks for the birthday boy, Even after ordering $40 of hibachi. So I watched as all my friends eat massive plates and box leftovers. I was treated like the 8 year old who was on someone else's ticket. One of the men at the table wasn't even paying and got a plate to Mach everyone. I was literally handed whatever was left on the grill and it was jot appropriate to serve me this.
If it wasn't my friends Birthday. I would have stood up and walked out. My money could be better spent at elsewhere with less attitude.
One star is all I feel they should really receive. 2 stars for treating my friend decently tho.
Middle finger for billing me when I received such poor service they even talked about...
Read moreBest Hibachi I've had in a while and not as overpriced as some similar places. I took a chance on this location since the reviews seemed a bit mixed but I'm so glad I did. I had the hibachi steak dinner with fried rice and everything was seasoned well and delicious. Whichever previous reviewer said the food was bland clearly has no tastebuds. The only thing true from the negative reviews is the yumyum sauce did taste a bit too much like ketchup, and the ranch dressing in the salad was meh, but everything else was excellent. The starting soup was so good I wish I had a second bowl. The fried rice was excellent, ours had slightly toasted bits that made it slightly crunchy, which I would have thought sounded weird if I hadn't tried it-- it was delightful. I'm not usually a big fan of shrimp, it usually tastes bland to me, but the shrimp that came with the meal was actually tasty and enjoyable. And of course the meat and veggies were great as well. They also gave me more steak for the price than I'm used to getting from similar places. Towards the end I had to argue with myself to stop eating when I was full and tell myself to take the rest home-- it was so tasty I didn't want to...
Read moreWe ate here about 6 weeks ago and the food was pretty good. The service was a little slow. We were the only family in the sushi bar area with only one waitress also trying to entertain a birthday party in the hibachi area as well. So, we were as patient as we could be, but we were there for almost two hours. We have been trying to come back to eat again, however they are never open even when their business hours say they are. Today, on a Friday, on a whim, we pulled in to see if they were open and YES! Only one other couple sitting in the hibachi area. We told the waitress we wanted sushi. She advised us to go ahead and seat ourselves. As we get settled, she come out to ask if we were having sushi (again?)….. as we said yes (again)…..she then informed us that the sushi chef has not arrived yet. I asked her if she knew how long it would be before he arrived and she said she had no clue…. So I asked what else is available other than hibachi, and she said that’s all they have right now. We’re not about to pay $$$ for just lunch and a show when all we wanted was a couple of rolls of sushi. We’re very disappointed & don’t think we’ll try so hard to...
