Philly Connection (KSU) — Restaurant in Georgia

August 15, 2021 and I am still waiting for the new owner to contact me back about the horrific food I was served. I spent well over $35.00 for TWO 10 inch philly cheese steak sandwiches and two fries (and 2 drinks) -What a waste of money!!! Both sandwiches had hard overcooked really awful tasting chunks of meat and that's all you could taste (no cheese or onion taste, ect) it was really disgusting and I got nauseous for the rest of the night. Then both fries were so greasy then the bag was "crumbled" closed so it retained the steam so all fries were soggy wet (SO GROSS)!! When I call them back immediately all I was offered was to make me more food I was sick to my stomach got no sympathy and now the owner is not calling me back. At this point I want a full and complete refund. Under new management with all new staff as of 8/9/2020. For the first time ever, I got sick last time I ate here.

With the new management, the food quality went down the tubes: lots of burnt steak on sandwich, not enough seasoning for the steak - very bland, very stingy on cheese - I thought they did not put ANY on the sandwich, used too much oil when cooking the steak, buns were not toasted so they became soggy from the excessive steak oil, and the oil the fries were cooked in was not hot enough so the fries did not fry - they just absorbed the oil while remaining wet and not crunchy. It is clear the new employees were not trained properly or they do not care about the quality of food they cook like the old employees did.

I have been a customer for many years and I will not be returning. New management would not even call me back to make them aware of my complaints. I'm guessing this will be a "hands off" investment for...

ORDERED WITH UBEREAT LAST NIGHT. We've ordered 2 philly cheesesteak 1 fries. Paid $35 for it. Worse food we've ever tasted. I usually give benefit of the doubt to all business i deal with (i own a business myself so i can understand things might go wrong sometime. But there is no excuse for what they did. Meat was clearly old(smelly and tasted very bad), we were only able to take two bites and threw it away. I am from Jersey, i've had many many Philly cheese-stakes in my life time. But this was the worse of the worse. I believe these guys never had chesesteak in their life or they have no respect for their customers. I would challenge anyone in that establishment to eat their own cheesesteak including the owner .. C'mon people !! you should not be in restaurant business.. I am very upset with these guys.
