Update! To Nothing is ever right anymore. They are very busy and new staff has not been able to keep up. 12/8/2024 In the last month I have had some of the worst experiences I have ever had in any restaurant in my life with first watch in Cobb county. I started eating at first watch several years ago on Cherokee in Kennesaw which was always very decent very friendly but it became too much of a wait to eat. And a place just became dirtier and dirtier. To the point that every glass every piece of silverware you touch was dirty. Sandy plains is always a long wait I graduated to the East Cobb location. I have been a loyal customer from Georgia to Alabama. Montgomery, every location in Birmingham. Then you guys opened Barrett parkway. Very nice location, worst customer service and servers out of every first watch I've ever been in. And all this I'm saying has been happening within the last year. First watch in Georgia every single location I have been to the service is usually great or crappy. Luck of the draw. The cleanliness of the place and all of them except for East Cobb have completely went to trash. And I'm saying that from the floor all the way to the glasses and silver where they give you. I'm so disappointed and offended, because I've been eating at a first watch in Ga or Alabama at least two or three days a week for over a year. If I walk in any one of these locations I mentioned right now they know me by face and name. So I'm saying all this to say I went to Cherokee location this morning it was the worst service everything was messed up everything was nasty and it was after the rush. The manager who explained to me that she was new and was trying to clean the place up did nothing to make my visit better. I was like just give it to me togo. It caim out like crap! So I paid for what I consumed, told them they could keep the rest. Today you guys have lost a customer, Customers because my family will never eat there again neither will my friends if I can help it. this place has really went down hill. And it hurts me because I love the concept of first watch. I used to love the atmosphere but everything has changed. It has become quantity over quality. Me being an ex chef, this is unacceptable if you plan on keeping customers, faithful customers.. . You guys are slowly running yourselves out of business by making...
Read moreWe usually enjoy the food here but stopped coming as often because of how long it takes to get. We went on Saturday at 1:50 since the parking lot was pretty empty. When we went in there were no more than 10 tables sat. We ordered the moment we sat down and the server came which was before 2:00. The food hit the table at exactly 2:30. Showing my frustration I was simply told that they close at 2:30 and they start getting a ton of to go orders at 2:00 so that's why my 2 simple breakfast meals arrived 35 minutes later. Unacceptable with the amount of breakfast places in the area and the amount the food costs. Now, the previous visit I had was something you can't even make up. I ordered the seasonal breakfast enchilada which came with poached eggs. The 2 poached eggs were actually 2 hard boiled eggs sitting on top of the enchilada because they were so well done. The server took just the eggs back to the kitchen. 15 minutes later when I was done he came back and said they would be out shortly. At this point I laughed and asked for the manager who I saw walking around. I told him what happened and how I was already done with breakfast and he apologized and said I'll get it to go for you. 5 minutes later the manager who I believe was actually the GM returns with a small soup like to go container with 2 eggs in it that looked like they were dropped in water for about 5 seconds. They were swimming around raw in the container. I'm not exaggerating I promise. When I called him back and showed him he said he didn't want them to cook over cook while in the to go box. Lol!!!! They were raw, he should have just given me 2 eggs still in the shell. Now, anyone who deals with that situation should know the eggs were the main part of the meal and he should have brought a whole new breakfast to go. But for some reason this man was ok with bringing two raw eggs in a soup cup. I've been in the restaurant business for over 30 years and never could have imagined this would happen anywhere. I'll try the new location they just built on Barret and hope it's better. Again, the food has been great there for years so I hope we can enjoy it again. But they sure need to learn some basic restaurant 101 service skills. These last two visits were completely...
Read moreThis is the 3rd time I have been to this 1st Watch location in Kennesaw by Jiles Road. My 1st time was WONDERFUL. It was a weekday, and the service and the food were great. The last time and today's vist just were not good. I did the "wait in line" option on their app. Today, as we arrived, the app said we were next to be seated, go to the hostess, which I did. I gave my name, and she located me and said it would not be long before we were seated. 20 minutes later, after watching about 5 other groups be seated, I went back to the hostess (mind you, I'd been standing in front of her the entire time). I asked her how much longer it would be as the app had said we were next to be seated 20 minutes ago. She actually asked me if I checked in when I got there and who did I speak with!! We were seated within minutes. We placed our order. I get the same hash each time I've been there. I asked for over easy eggs but not too runny and a pancake on the side. Today, as well as my last visit, the eggs were well done, not even just soft but fully cooked. By the time they correct it, the hash is cold. Last time they didn't bring my pancake. I had to ask for it, and it took forever. The rest of my party had finished eating by the time I got my food. Today they did bring the pa cake but it was cold. The butter wouldn't even melt. I asked for cream for my coffee. The waiter poured the coffee just after we had been seated. By the time he took the order of the party of 6 at the table next to us, got their water and to go boxes for another table, gave both tables their stuff and finally gave me the cream, my codfe was cold. My sin's flatware was dirty. He didn't bother to point it out and just asked for plastic ware. Sorry to say, I will not go back to this location. I have been to the location on Barrett Parkway. I may give them another try otherwise, IHOP, never...
