Sabor Mi Veracruz — Restaurant in Georgia

The food here was AWESOME! Way better than any other Mexican restaurant that I’ve tasted in the city… it was fresh and the portion size was great. I LOVE that the chips were SUPER fresh and you could tell were homemade, not store bought. Living in Cali, I got to taste tons of authentic Mexican food and it was very reminiscent of that😊 I only wish that they would get some more help. Idk if it was only because of the time that I visited, but there was only ONE lady taking orders, bartending AND serving. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was going to the back to cook the food as well! She had a lot going on, but she was definitely nice! My reason for not giving 5 stars, though, is because the drinks were not ON POINT. The flavors were good, but the amount of alcohol was almost nonexistent. When I leave a Mexican Restaurant after drinking margaritas, I expect to FEEL LIKE I’ve been drinking margaritas 🥴 I still felt the same… 😒 But other than that, it was A-1! The folks in this restaurant were extremely pleasant!! Very open and willing to serve!!! The food was on point; certain places provide a salsa that's to spicy for most. The salsa here was perfect to a point you could drink it. Don't get me wrong, it dose have a kick but not too much of a kick. I had the seafood burrito and I was worried they were going to use imitation crab, when I tore into it, the crab was the first to be inspected and to my surprise it tasted like fresh crab. Went here for dinner during the week and it was a WINNER! The tamale was one of the best my husband ever had and he gets one at every restaurant that offers them. The food came out quick and was very fresh. The rice was very flavorful and fluffy and the beans were awesome. I got the pollo Loco and my husband got the burrito veracruz.
