I love Penny's but I had the worst visit ever. I was sent to 3 different registers, then I was told I had to call a number & do what they told me. I called while in the store and the girl that I spoke with was amazing!!! She said I could swap the 2 pair of new jeans I was returning for the same name brand. The only reason I was returning them was they had an awful acid dye smell that I couldn't wash out. I bought them online so I didn't know about the smell until I received them. I thought I could wash the smell out but I couldn't. I had to go try on the others and had to get a different color that didn't smell which would have been fine but when I returned to the register I was told by the man who had given the number to call and told him what the girl told but he said I still could not return or swap them without a receipt. Read moreI placed my order on July 12th. It shipped on July 15th. I have not gotten any updates since then. I spoke with a customer service representative named Joseph from JCP on July 21st. He said that I should receive my order within 12 business days of ordering (by July 28th). When I placed the order, the information page said I should get it no later than the 22nd. I called UPS first and gave them my order number. They informed me that no such order even existed yet. It is now the 26th. JCP has not offered any further answers or assistance and UPS says the order still doesn’t even exist on their end. I spent over $100 for my order to just magically disappear with no updates after being shipped. It seems very sketchy and this has been a very unpleasant experience.
