I visit Woodlawn Starbucks 2,3, and sometimes 4 times a week. Starbucks is my happy place and normally the service is above average and sooo enthusiastic at Woodlawn. I'm rating a 3 today largely due to a major disappointment in service. I get my custom signature mocha fatastico drink most every visit. It always hits the spot. Today I picked up a side toasted bagel for a coworker. Took longer as they were out of what she wanted so threw off my order...that and I was rushed very dryly I might add having waited my turn at drive thru and 5 cars in front of me just one behind. Anyway, I get the other order out twice + repeated. Now I'm at the window and I ask for butter for the bagel thinking I forgot to ask and normally I do ask at time of order. Abby, the employee assisting me not a smile in her eyes or across her lips lectures me to please order butter with my other items next time because of some inconvenience she's faced with now. I'm very sad she didn't offer it when I placed my order as its bread, second you were dry and non-energetic with a NEXT attitude at time of order oh and throughout my experience. Too much to ask? Finally, I wasn't holding up your line as I had to wait even after paying for both orders on my fabulous $6.20 iced mocha to be ready. Abby, it wasn't my happy place today!! You did not care. My mocha was not as perfect as if you had given the ultimate service with a smile. Today was lackluster and I've never been reprimanded at a Starbucks or any drive thru before so I had to make time to let you know how not cool my experience was today. I would have given a lower score but I cannot discount my past experiences with some fantastic service professionals at Woodlawn and just because 1 bad seed .... I love Paper Mill too, and I'll drive for my ultimate...
Read moreLET ME TELL YOU ABOUT JAKE. probably the rudest employee i’ve ever met anywhere. if you ever go to the starbucks at Woodlawn look out for her. she wears a pin that says he/him but is clearly born a girl and sounds like one. she has short blond/brown hair and is small to medium sized. if you see her, RUN!!!! anyways i ordered a sandwich and they were out, so they wrote it on a bag and i brought it back to the counter to order something else. jake and another (very nice) lady were there and the other lady kindly let me order a new sandwich. however, after about half an hour my sandwich was still not out so i went up to the counter to ask about it. by the way nice lady wasn’t here anymore so i asked a nice man. while i was explaining the situation to him, jake rudely barged into the conversation. i said “i ordered another sandwich” and jake goes “you have to tell me which sandwich baby!” keep in mind i am 18 and jake is no older than 25. i go over to the sandwich to remember the name of the one i ordered, and jake is still yelling at me to tell her the name of the sandwich. when i come back, i accidentally combined the names of two sandwiches and BOY DID THAT SET JAKE OFF! she loudly and rudely goes “those are two different sandwiches baby” i was kinda confused and before i could talk she said it again. i went back and got the right name and she finally made my sandwich. but do people not have patience anymore? the whole interaction was 30 seconds long and i don’t know why she expected me to have the whole menu memorized word for word. please fire Jake she is just insanely rude and...
Read moreEvery time I come in here is the best experience. I usually come in before my shift at the Animal Hospital and I’m always at work on time after stopping here. I order on the app 10 minutes before I come in and it always sitting on the counter the exact temperature of I can drink this and know it will still be hot 30 minutes later (if I don’t finish it). The best thing of walking in is Sarah who always sees me and greets me by name❤️ I order food and one of my items always has a customization and she gets it on point every time. And when she’s not making my food she makes sure its right when I get it! I have so many more Starbucks closer to where I live and work, but I will always choose this one on my 40 minute drive to work. So worth it! Thank you Sarah :)
But thank you to the WHOLE STAFF!! You guys are amazing! I’ve been served by almost every one of you, and it’s always been the best experience. From what you guys have to go through with COVID, big rushes, and the customers who have had bad mornings. You all are amazing. You handle it with great professionalism and still keep the smile on your face. You can’t teach customer service but dang all of you were born with it. :)
