Came here for lunch on a Friday with my wife and we both got the Steak and Shrimp hibachi lunch. We opted to pay extra for both soup and salad. The atmosphere was very old school hibachi authentic with the rooms off to the side and lots of wood in the decor and on the walls. They did not offer the table show during lunch. The waitress/hostess were both nice and friendly. Although not attentive once we were seated. They gave us menus, brought our drinks, took our order, dropped off our food, asked how it was once, never came back until the check was given. The look of our table stacked with our empty plates gave it away. She never asked to refill my hot tea because she never came back except to drop off plates or checks to other tables which were only 3 other people eating at the time we came. We saw they had a lunch special for 50% off the second entree and they didn't give us the deal because my wife didn't order a drink. Had I known, she would have got a tea and we could have saved ten bucks. Most of the food was very safe and not really having a strong point of view. The miso soup was really small and was fresh but not strong. You finished it and didn't wish you had more. The salad was also small and the ginger dressing was pretty bland as well. The fried rice was almost delicious. You could tell it was cooked on seasoned cookware and had high quality ingredients, it just wasn't seasoned. I was hoping it had sesame seeds or at least the oil mixed in at the end and you could tell they didn't even put any butter either. You want that umami flavor and it wasn't there but it was good enough. The steak and shrimp stole the show. The grilled flavor was awesome and was cooked very well with the right amount of sear on the steak and tender inside. Shrimp was seared well and cooked through but not too much. Vegetables were pretty bland but cooked well. I'd come back for the real hibachi show fore sure, and if I came for lunch again, I'd smuggle in some seasoning to hook it up myself if it...

We have been going to this restaurant for 20 years!!!! Maybe more! But after tonight I think we will find another hibachi restaurant for birthdays in East Cobb. The service tonight was definitely lacking. It started with the table not being clean, then having water spilled all over me and it taking several requests to get napkins. We have gone to this restaurant for several birthdays and other family events. Normally all my brothers come and we spend closer to $200-$300 here. However, since tonight was a week night we spend $90 there on 3 adults and 1 half price kid because everyone couldn’t come. Today was my mom and my daughters birthday. My mom left her phone at home and so we didn’t have the digital birthday coupon. We could look through emails on my phone and found coupons dating back to 2010! But for some reason this years coupon didn’t get sent. After a lot of talking and my mom showing them her ID they gave us $10 off but my that point I was already disappointed that my mom had to make such a big deal about getting a free meal on her birthday when every other year this hasn’t been an issue. Her meal, by the way was like $17 so it would have cost them $7 to keep a lifelong customer. It wasn’t about the money, like I said we normally spend a couple hundred dollars here because everyone eats and drinks when we come for birthdays but I will find another place that can be kinder to us on birthdays. I have my place in Dunwoody but my parents live in E. Cobb still so we go here when we want to go near them. In the future I will make them come to me in Dunwoody! The food was just like every other Japanese restaurant and the guy who made the food was really sweet so we did leave a good tip for him but just disappointed in the servers and the management when we checked out. It wasn’t about money. It was about making her feel special on...

Must read!! If I can give them no stars I would !! Want to hear something gross... soooo my coworkers and I went to this restaurant for lunch. We order our food keep in mind we only have 1 hour. for lunch.. we get our salads ,and drinks ... ok np... so, now we are waiting for the chef to come out and make my steak & chicken and my coworkers tofu and shrimp.. and the rice and veggies ... The guy Finally comes out after us waiting for like 45 mins...( I cancelled my order due to no time to eat ) .. we had literally 10-15 mins left before having to return to work , . the male chef comes and tell us how he was stuck on the toliet using it ... but now he's here to cook our food!! Yall this man proceeded to cook the food . and tried to insist that I eat my food .. ummm no sir!!. so after he cooks their food the manager, (Im assuming) comes to us and tells us how he has stomach issues and he spends like 45 mins in the bathroom all the time ... i couldn't believe what I was hearing in a restaurant about the chef I will never return back to...

Went here for a birthday hibachi dinner. The hibachi chef was very fun and interactive with the whole group and led a happy birthday song with a lemon “cake” and candle! The restaurant now has a cool robot that delivers takeout meals to the host and it sang happy birthday to me too :) I got the chicken pad thai and the sauce was very flavorful and delicious. I also got crab rangoon for the first time and they were quite tasty. I appreciated the free refills, plates they offered for my cake, and kind waiters. The food didn’t take too long however, the hibachi chef took a bit of time to get to our table. This may have been due to our big 8-person group, so it is understandable. One thing is the location of the restaurant isn’t the best. Overall it is a nice restaurant for hibachi and I would go again for another occasion.

This is a pretty decent lunch spot. My review may be a little biased because I’ve had better, but this place is pretty good. The miso soup was cool, but I prefer clear soup. And the ginger dressing is thick on the salad. It’s just that my favorite Japanese restaurant in the Atlanta area does everything just the way I like it, but again this place may suffice if you’re in the area. I ordered the lobster sushi roll, and it was pretty good. The restaurant was quiet at lunchtime, so I don’t think it’s too popular, but it was cool. This is such a “meh” review, so see for yourself on this one guys.

The food was fine but the service was lacking in friendliness and speed. We never received refills on our drinks. It took about 20mins for the server (CC) to take our entree order. I ordered chicken, beef, shrimp fried rice. The chicken was hard, the steak was tough and the rice was lacking in flavor overall. This is my 2nd visit here. The 1st time I came, the food and service was great but will think twice the next time in mood for Hibachi. It appeared.they were short-staffed.
