"I'm still reeling from the unforgettable dining experience at The Reunion Kitchen and Bar in Marietta. Last night, I had the pleasure of celebrating my business partner's and his wife's birthday at this exceptional restaurant. As a seasoned traveler who's dined at top-tier steakhouses worldwide, including Papi Steak in Las Vegas and Frankie's in Atlanta, I was blown away by The Reunion's excellence.
Upon entering, the warm atmosphere set the stage for an extraordinary culinary journey. We indulged in seven delectable appetizers, each one expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. The Mussels, in particular, were a standout. For my entrée, I savored the most tender, melt-in-your-mouth ribeye steak I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The presentation was visually stunning, making me want to capture the moment forever.
But what truly made our evening special was the exceptional service. The owner's gracious hospitality extended not only to our table but to every guest in the restaurant, making each person feel valued and appreciated.
For dessert, I treated myself to the decadent Red Velvet Cake, and I couldn't resist sneaking a bite of my partner's Carrot Cake – both were sublime. This morning, I find myself craving another taste of each.
As a fellow restaurant owner, I feel privileged to endorse The Reunion Kitchen and Bar as a true gem. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Please do yourself a culinary favor and experience this outstanding restaurant for yourself. You won't be disappointed!" You will want to treat yourself to more than one entree the Chicken, Fish, Pork and Beef dishes were all a hit to the people...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst experience I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. From the minute we walked through the door, the hostess was dismissive and unfriendly and took 10 minutes to seat us even though the restaurant was basically empty, and we had a reservation. After we sat our server was kind of condescending, not very sociable and extremely inattentive- water glasses were left empty, didn’t come back to take our order until we flagged her down. My son asked for ginger ale and received soda water. We were in a position to see the expo line , and saw two of our orders sitting there for 15 minutes (we were a party of five) until the kitchen finished the remaining three orders. Management was just standing around observing the restaurant and not really doing anything. The highlight of the entire meal was the food runner. He was on point! Great personality, talkative, polite, smiled, hoped we enjoyed our food. If anything, he should be serving and teach the remaining staff how to do the job well. The food was so so. The French onion soup had such an odd taste… the truffle fry sauce tasted horrifically oily and the fries were so salty they were pretty much inedible. One other guest had the lemon chicken which he loved, but the broccoli was raw.It took us 2 hours - most of which was waiting for our server to take our order and to receive our food and witnessed the completely inept hostess make people stand waiting for a table in a restaurant with empty tables… needless to say, do NOT go here. It’s literally not...
Read moreBeing a person who throughly enjoys sampling restaurants, I was looking forward to trying this one but from the start the visit was rocky.
The wine list. Small and unimpressive. The first two different wines we selected were “out of stock due to a distribution issue.” On a Friday night, with the weekend looming, and a small selection to begin with, shouldn’t the management try to find another source for these obviously popular wines?
Try two or three cases from a liquor store.
We ordered the Spinach dip to start which we all agreed wasn’t good. The spinach tasted as if it had been frozen for some time. To the restaurants credit they remove it from our bill.
My dining companions both ordered the Mussels and reported they were rubbery. Additionally, the accompanying bread was harder than most rocks.
I ordered the Salmon which was edible but bland. It was served on a cedar plank. Didn’t this trend go out in the 90’s?
The bar was packed with a band playing so loudly my Apple Watch gave me notifications the environment was too loud.
The service was attentive but spotty. When the bill came we had been over changed and addressed this with the waiter who took care of the issue.
The experience was quite disappointing.
Never trust a restaurant housed in a...
