Worst experience with Starbucks. This review is going to be long because I will let you do the judge, I’m telling yall every single event that happened in this experience.
I was at Starbucks in their Happy Hour. I ordered 4 drinks: 1. Double CC Frap, 2. Matcha Frap, 3. Strawberry Frap and Cocoa Cloud Macchiato Frap (new drink)
While I was ordering, the person who taking my order apologized that he had trouble hearing me bc of something is going on with his headphone, I asked him if he wanted me to come to the window and order it instead? He said no he can take order now, he just need a moment. I waited, and then repeat my order, just simple 4 drinks, no complication or special request. After that, I headed to the window, the guy handing me a tray with 4 drinks and start taking my money. I expect to pay around $10 with tax, but he told me my order is $16. I told him I order 4 drinks, let’s say the normal total is $20, if I’m in Happy Hour, it should be $10. And he was like no, your order is $16! He keep on repeating that my order is ~$16 and react like I’m not wanted to pay or something and keep asking to scan my card. So I told him again that is not how the total should be, and he reluctantly asked “What did you order?” I repeated my order. He say to me: that’s 4 drinks, you ordered 4 drinks?! I’m like: Yes I ordered 4 drinks. At this moment, someone is bringing Strawberry Frap out. He asked: “Which one” is your drinks? and having this look on his face like eye rolling I’m thinking like: which one?! at this moment I figured that they might have messed up my order with someone else, so I repeated my order again. He asked: so you didn’t order Cocoa, I’m like ?! What? I did order Cocoa Macchiato! And I repeated my order again. He’s taking one of the drink out (I think he took out the Cocoa I ordered) and leave one of the drink which I dont know what, because Cocoa is the new drink I never seen it before I dont know how it should look, but this drink has a different top compare to other drink, and plus the complication that I had with this “barista” I’m tired and upset and just wanted to drive off. I was driving and thinking: Why did he think I order 5 drinks when I can order 6 drinks with the same price?! it’s a Happy Hour, like NORMAL people would Order 4 or 6 drinks, why don’t he think why would I order 5 drinks?! If my party is 5 and I don’t like to have the extra drink, I can give it away to random people, or homeless people or do whatever the f I want, why 5?! so odd! And They did have problem with their headphones, he’s not even smiling, not even apologize for the trouble because its clearly their fault!
After leaving Starbucks, I arrived at my work place 5 mins away. I noticed a big EMPTY space on my VENTI drink.?! What is that space for? Starbucks starts selling AIR now?! (Pictures)
I tried on the “suppose to be Cocoa” it taste like iced coffee with no sugar no cream. And the area on top is just empty like that?! I open the picture and look, it doesn’t look like this drink AT ALL. The sticker on the drink written: VT Ic Cocoa Cloud !!?!?!
Since I cannot drink it (the drink suppose to be for me) I start trying other people’s drinks, they are very watery, no texture of a Frap, watery, no sweet taste. I was so upset, after all this drama, drinks are not even good!
I could totally drive back and exchange for another one, but I’m THAT SICK of the attitude and how they handle the situation (manager was there, maybe she was too nice to correct the employee). I’m sick of the way they look at me and think I was troubling them, it makes me feel bad at being asian, like you think because I’m asian so I can’t speak English well and made a wrong order and create all this drama ?!

Been to this location 4-5X since it became a fully freestanding store a few years ago. Today will be my last visit.
Drive through is always slammed so I parked in the front by the doors and went inside to order to go. Literally one hot coffee and one cold brew. I explicitly asked the girl at the register if she would be getting my hot coffee during checkout. She said no and that both drinks would be prepared at the pickup counter.
The cold brew was ready in about 2-3 minutes, which was quick. I then stood by the pickup counter for an additional 12 minutes waiting for my hot coffee. I even looked at the girl who rang me up, who was now next to the drive thru a couple of times and made eye contact. Nothing.
I finally asked a random employee preparing lattes if she could get the attention of the girl. I stated I was told my order would be made. I then realized it would take 30 minutes for someone to maybe finish my order.
I asked a manager if she could get my coffee and that I wanted a refund. She advised "they were doing the best they can". I merely stated there is a training or process breakdown and wanted to bring this to their attention. I was issued the refund quickly but then the manager turned away and what came next made my jaw drop.
The manager then said, "oh, you wanted a refund and it was either get your refund or your hot coffee, not both"
At this point I've been inside the store for 20+ mins to literally get a hot black coffee and was essentially being refused. The manager seeing the look on my face relented, turned around, poured a hot coffee, then put in on the counter without saying anything else or looking at me. That's literally all the order girl needed to do from the beginning. Take 30 seconds and pour me a cup of coffee. The fact even management knows their service sucks and is slammed intentionally made me feel like I was at fault for wanting my $3 back and the product is absurd.
I left rather perplexed and frustrated only to find my car blocked in from the drive- thru barely moving. It backs up to the entrance on Indian Trail and cars parked between the store and drivethru lane cant get out because its bumper to bumper. It took another 4 minutes for one car space to move in the drive thru so I could back out and finally leave.
30 minutes for two coffees and multiple other times seeing the drive thru slammed and place operating slow AF. I wont be visiting ever again, but hopefully they have more staff and get this turned around. Looks like a ton of other 1-star reviews so not...
Read moreI literally come to this Starbucks location every morning and once in a while in the afternoons. I have always dealt with the busy lines, sometimes not so great coffee tastes, and did not complain when I received a different drink. I just tried it, smiled, and said it was okay. I understand it can be busy especially in the mornings but the experience I had this morning was just terrible. Just like any other mornings, I waited in line to order my coffee. Yes, it was pretty busy for a Tuesday, but I was fine with it. The crew there were the people I was familiar with so it was okay. After placing my order, I waited about 10+ minutes just for my drink to come out. That is still fine, however, all the people in front of me left, a couple of more people behind me left. So I started to think maybe they forgot my drink because it has happened before. So There was a Indian? lady with long hair and glasses. She just started her shift. Whatever till this point. I have asked her whether there was a Iced Macchiato. She, rudely said that her shift just started so she doesn't know. Then another lady next to her asked what my name was and they still said "We don't have anything for that name" so I simply said to ask the guy at the cashier. Then, the rude glasses lady said "it's here" and then she just went on by. The whole time, she did not smile, she did not make any eye contact, she was so rude, I was getting pretty upset at this point. Finally, my drink came out and she literally dropped it on the bar, and said "here it is." in the rudest way possibly like it was my fault for even asking for it. I don't know, I love Starbucks and I have never had any form of problems until this day. And it sucks because one person just ruined all the days I have been here and I probably do not want to come to this location...
