We have visited several Subway stores and find that their food is pretty much the same but the service is all over the place. We were at this store for lunch this afternoon because we have experienced friendly service and a clean dining area in the past. Well, that has changed. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was that there was no "Welcome to Subway" greeting when we walked through the door. The next was the trash on the floor, then the sparse inventory of chips, and then the overflowing trash bins in the beverage area. Why didn't we turn around and leave you may ask? We thought that maybe they had experienced a rush of customers prior to us arriving and didn't have time to sweep the floor, empty the trash, restock the chips, and wipe down the tables. We do like their sandwiches so we went ahead and ordered our meals. After having to deal with our sandwich maker's attitude went to a table, wiped it down and ate our food. Well, only (3) customers, in a group, showed up while we were there and they ordered and left so they weren't very busy but, no effort was made to clean mess or stock the chip display. As a matter of fact, the (2) female employees disappeared to the back of the store and the male stayed in the service area eating slices of meat and cheese not caring if anyone was paying any attention to him. I noticed on our receipt that we were not charged for my sandwich being double meat. We would have normally brought this to the attention of the staff but we figured Subway should pay us for our business...
Read moreSo I entered Subway with my vested service dog and went to counter to order. The young man behind the counter claimed to be the regional manager. He asked me if my dog was a service dog to which I replied, you saw us enter the store. He is vested and well marked. He then asked me what service he provides, to which I replied, he alerts me to someone rushing my space. I have CPTSD. I asked him if he harassed all his disabled guest, or just the ones he didn't see? I ordered my sandwich toasted and when he pulled it out told him I wanted spinach to which he answered he had known. That is the main reason I go there for health benefits. I should have just left, as after all that couldn't even complete the sandwich to my satisfaction but when I asked him, he did give me 10% off. The older woman claimed to be the store manager and she had the audacity to say that I was rude to her arrogant manager and that she had it all on tape, to which I replied good. He lied about not seeing my well marked dog enter the store, so after general management reads this, I am glad that they can co.pate to the recording. đ as many times I ve eaten there and never had a problem, I really don't know if I ever want to subject myself to the humiliation again. I believe that I might file a complaint with ADA. First confirmed harassment carries a $55k fine to the restaurant. I'd hate to see them shut down because the other workers are quite respectful Maybe they'll just get...
Read moreExtreeeeemely slow service. They put way too much mayo and mustard on their sandwiches. They were drowning in condiments. It makes it very difficult to eat a sandwich that is slippery. I asked for a 6 inch chicken teriyaki and the lady staryed cutting the bread (which was underbaked) got sidetracked and only cut the top half and then started making a footlong chicken teriyaki. After waiting 10 minutes in line already (only 1 customer ahead) I didn't argue over it and let her continue . Then she put so much chicken on my sandwich that it fell apart and I had to eat it with a fork! Usually more food wouldn't be an issue for some people, but when the sandwich can't even be eaten properly, it becomes annoying. The lady making our sandwiches can't hear or doesn't listen. We asked for light mayo and mustard, but she just piled it on and we had to scrape it off. Workers seemed disorganized and distracted. There was old food (hard bread pieces) and dead flies on the window sill for the tables next to the door. The Subway in Wal-Mart isn't much faster but at least I could hold...
