So good that we went back for breakfast again the next day with our family. We had Miss Dee both times as well. Super sweet. There are a ton of options on the menu as well. All the staff were kind and you really got a close neighborhood vibe. You can tell they have their regulars that they know by face or name. We ordered and it came out so quickly and piping hot. I ordered the build your own omelette with ham, sausage, and avocado. Probably one of the best and biggest ones I've ever had. It also came with a side and I got the blue berry pancakes. So yummy. My friend got the country fried steak biscuit and it was almost as big as the plate. The gravy was a flavorful sausage gravy with a fluffy huge biscuit. The meat was tender. Also came with a side and he got the plain pancakes. Next day we brought the rest of our family. My friend had the same meal bc he loved it so much. I changed it up and got the chicken eggs benedict.bomb! The hollandaise sauce was creamy and not overly lemony. The eggs perfectly poached and runny. I got my side as extra crispy hash browns and they were great. Another person got the Belgian waffle with fresh fruit. Another person got the Nutella and banana crepes. Best crepe I've ever had. Not chewy at all. And someone else got an omelette with sausage and mushrooms. Everyone literally cleaned our plates. Best part of everything was the price. All our meals came with more than enough food and nothing was over $10. I'd highly recommend and I promise you won't be disappointed. Next time we need to come back for something besides breakfast but that will be hard when we know how...
Read moreWe actually visited this restaurant twice. In any restaurant it depends alot on your waitress . The first time we went we had a wonderful waitress. Michelle was her name. We ordered the hibachi steak and the hibachi steak and chicken. Enjoyed every bite. Michelle made sure we had everything we needed. We went back because of the way we're treated and the hibachi dishes were extremely tasty. I do not usually eat all of my food but I ate everything. The second time was not not so great. We had a young new waitress. It was not entirely her fault. She apparently was still learning the dishes. While this young waitress was waiting on the people in the restaurant we watched as the three, I guess they were waitresses standing near the kitchen area. There was a table of people that came in before we did and got waited on after we had gotten our food. Not sure why? Anyway, not sure why they were huddled up near the kitchen but it sure was not the same service and food we got the first time we came. Maybe if the 3 other women were standing and turning in circles things would have seemed different. Thank you Michelle and the cook for the first visit. It was...
Read moreEvery Tuesday, our group, The Ladies of the Evening picks a local restaurant to meet for dinner, hence “Tuesday’s Dinner with Friends”. Tonight we celebrated our friend, Lorraine’s Birthday. She chose Sunrise Diner on Hwy 341. We were welcomed wholeheartedly by our server a Lori, she was so attentive to our group of 10. We all ordered different meals from the menu, Our food was delicious, fast and served hot. I recommend the Philly Cheese Steak, while we were eating the owner came and checked on us let us know how much he appreciated us and took a couple of photos for his digital board, to our surprise, we were on the billboard outside, we all walked out to see our fame, Lorraine was so delighted, she was almost in tears. Thank you Sunrise Diner for making our evening fun, for making us famous, a few people dropped by our table to say “Happy Birthday Lorraine”, and adding joy to our Tuesday Night. I have eaten breakfast here many times, and now it will be a sure stop for dinner as well. Great menu, food...
