We had one of the weirdest experiences ever. Our son has food allergies. Due to this on the road we usually seek out places with Beyond burgers and order them by saying "our son has many allergies, due to this he needs a beyond burger, just the patty, no toppings, no bun" This works every where else. Today we made it to "our son has allergies..." when the server launched into something about the food being premade, and maybe we should go to another restaurant. She would not let my wife finish the sentence then left to serve other tables. She then went in the back and complained loudly about us needing "special stuff" and couldn't wait to get off her shift so she didn't have to deal with it. At this point we had heard enough and left. We aren't going to risk our son to someone who clearly doesn't want to help, and told us we would be better served elsewhere before even asking our sons allergies. The server caught us on the way out and was surprised we were leaving, and said she had "talked to the manager" and we were ok... how? She had never asked his allergies or what we wanted to order. Allergies are nothing to mess with, and they aren't "special requests" its just us trying to feed my son at the airport, and keep him alive. We shouldn't have to convince the restaurant it's...
Read moreGreat spot to kill time waiting for our plane... Cesar salad and nachos were good, and couldn't complain. I have to say, the standout for me without question was our server VINCENT. from the moment he greeted us , tended to us for the entire 2.5hours we're were there -- he really made the experience so enjoyable. He is ADORABLE, & the perfect balance of anticipating our needs without smothering us- super attentive and aware of not only us but is was clear, he was aware of the entire floor. ( I wondered if he was a manager even , the way he took a beautiful ownership of the space in such an unassuming yet necessary way.) If he's not a manager, hes the kind I would want . Clearly a team player, focused on the entire floor as well as other team members... He makes it look easy and effortless and his energy was so pleasant in a way I no some could miss because he makes it look so easy. ( As someone from the restaurant industry with 15 years of experience) I appreciated him as both a customer and as someone who's be stoked to have him on my team behind the scenes.

Read moreMy husband and I came in yesterday for a quick bite to eat before heading to our gate. Our server gave us a hard time as we only wanted fries and a salad. Our food was basically thrown onto our table and she walked off without asking if we wanted anything or any sense of acknowledgement. My salad had rotten leaves throughout. While I tried to pick them out, I just couldn't do a good enough job to make due with what was provided. When she grabbed our plates, no conversation at all, no notice that my salad had not been eaten. She came back 10 minutes later with our bill and then I was able to let her know. She had the worse attitude as though I was mistaken. She said oh, I came back and checked on you. When I advised she didn't, the discomfort she afforded us was the worse. How do I tell an establishment my food was rotten? It was hard for me to even say something, let alone express it to her. I did not feel welcomed.
