Dear Owner,
I hope you take the time to read this review.
On December 20th, my husband and I had a layover at ATL Airport, Terminal B, and came across what seemed to be a wonderful establishment at the time—Roast Coffee House. That day, I ordered a seasonal cold drink with grapefruit and coffee (unfortunately, I don’t recall the name) and a sandwich with pesto sauce. My husband opted for a cappuccino and a ham and cheese croissant. Our experience was delightful! The sandwich and croissant were perfectly golden and crispy, and everything tasted amazing.
Today, we had another layover at ATL Airport, and we were so excited to relive that great experience that we went out of our way to find this place, even traveling to a different terminal. But what I want to say is… TODAY’S EXPERIENCE WAS DISAPPOINTING!
When I asked for the same coffee-grapefruit drink as before, the staff seemed unfamiliar with what I was describing. I explained that I was looking for something cold, like a lemonade with coffee, but they couldn’t quite suggest an alternative. I later noticed the seasonal menu myself and realized the alternative drink I was referring to was Sparkling Tiger’s Eye.
As for the food, since I didn’t recall the name of the sandwich from my previous visit, I asked whether the Warm Turkey Sub Roll contained pesto sauce. The employee wasn’t sure and had to check, which left me a bit uncertain. When she returned, she said, ‘I don’t know what it is, something green.’ To be honest, I was shocked. I think it’s important for staff to have full knowledge of the menu, especially for customers with allergies.
Today’s Warm Turkey Sub Roll came with no crispiness—just plain bread. My husband’s croissant was also overcooked and slightly burnt.
Honestly, we are disappointed and will likely not return.
What does this say about your establishment? It suggests there may be inconsistencies in food quality and service. I hope your team can ensure that all customers receive the same great experience we had during our first visit.
To anyone reading this review, you might think it’s silly to expect good service in an airport restaurant. But I came to spend my money here, and I expect proper service and decent food in return—because I’m paying for it.
I strongly do not recommend this place. ATL Airport has plenty of other dining options to suit any taste.
Sincerely, A very...

While in line, the lady behind the register says next guest. The individual in front of me didn’t move so she yells it again, I inquire as to if he was with the person at register 1 and he said yes. Once that was confirmed, I walked around him to head to register 2. Please bear in mind that during the minute and a half or so that this is taking place the young lady at register 2 is yelling “next guest” as though she’s not standing directly in front of us as he moves out the way so I can proceed.
By time I get to the register, (literally 5 steps) I am baffled that she just screamed “next guest” the entire time. Nonetheless, I proceed to place my order as follows, Large, Hot, Original Blend” and she cuts me off and says “Chai Vanilla Cold Brew!” What? Perplexed I say no ma’am, and begin to repeat my order again. She then says, “oh, you want a Vanilla Latte!” At this point I am floored. Again, I say no ma’am to which she responds, “so what are you saying cuz all I hear is blend!” Due to her inability to hear or fully process my order, I simply say “Large HOT COFFEE and Vanilla!”
I have to be honest, if it wasn’t for the fact that I needed my coffee I would have absolutely departed the location. Ugh!
As far as the coffee, I chose the dark roast which was rich and vibrant. The notes of smoky flavor really steal the show and pair well with the shots of vanilla… I would definitely stop by again when on concourse B, providing that same employee isn’t at...
Read moreThe only saving grace for the review was the breakfast sandwich actually tasted good. The two attendants just looked at me, providing no greeting or instruction for who to go to since there was a line. As I placed my order, I ordered food and I asked if a customization from oat milk to whole milk was possible for a drink. I was responded with a blank look and then the attendant asking another member of staff who was working the coffee machines if that was possible. They didn’t confirm nor deny, just asked for the size. She continued to give me a look as if it was an inconvenience that I was ordering, then I asked if that was okay and she said “ya.” Then stated my total. I paid and then noticed a bag and asked if it was my sandwich, and was again responded to with an annoyed nod. I paid, got my receipt and wasn’t given any instruction to wait where I was for my coffee or somewhere else, as each coffee spot has different setups. The speed at which my drink and food came out were great, unfortunately there was no warmth in the register attendants. I’m not saying they should’ve been chirpy and bubbly, because I get it, it’s early. I would like some acknowledgment and direction for navigating their shop, though. Overall, it left a more off-putting taste than...
