I want to graciously thank the manager in a red jacket working today Saturday, 5/6/2023. You are an amazing person for going above and beyond to get me my iPad that was left on a previous flight. When I remembered about my iPad, all agents on concourse B were gone, the customer help desk next to B19 said to contact a phone number that wasnât open. Everyone blew me off but when o raised a concern at the Sky Club, the manager Iâm guessing stepped in and tracked it down, opened the gate/airplane that wasnât cleaned following the flight â and delivered my iPad to my flight on Concourse E. This person deserves a raise and a promotion - someone who values Delta and itâs customers. The iPad itself isnât valuable, but the contents are and this manager went above and beyond to get my property back to me after I was careless in forgetting it in the flight.
You are awesome!! Thank you
Now thatâs the only reason this place gets 5 stars - that one person! The food is mediocre at best and when I walked in there were no chicken wings (empty trays) and no bbq ribs(empty tray)
Over the course of the 2 hours that I spent at the lounge they eventually put out two different trays of ribs but no more chicken wings. Tip for employees - take the empty trays back and take off the signsâ itâs a little more professional than having empty trays sitting for the 2 hours I was there. Food is meh but youâre also getting free drinks so that kind of makes up for it and you can use miles to buy the more expensive wines and drinks etc etc.. Bought two glasses of Silver Oak wine that tasted great and was easily able to use my miles to pay for themâ cheaper than using cash or credit. Theresa is a great bartender, other than that mediocre â any lounge in Europe beats this place, even the Sky Lounge in Seattle (free under Priority Pass) has this beat with the...
Read moreThis was our first visit to the Delta SkyClub in Terminal A at the Atlanta Airport. When we entered on the first main terminal level, we were immediately greeted by a SkyClub employee who was friendly and informative. She verified our Sky MIles status and had us registered quickly. She then directed us to the second floor of the SkyClub, where the lounge, bar, and buffets are located. There are stairs and elevators.
The lounge is very large and nicely decorated. If you want to recharge, every seat has charging ports and a place to work if needed. The lounge is very comfortable and relaxing if you have time between flights. We had an 8 PM direct flight to Sacramento on this trip and had arrived at the lounge before 5 PM since we had come early to beat Atlanta rush hour traffic.
The bar was tended by a very polite and friendly bartender who gave us a rundown on the wines, both on the complimentary tier and the premium wines they carry. We selected a Cabernet Sauvignon from the Complimentary list and found it a solid, good wine.
The food buffet was fully stocked, and they kept it filled with fresh hot food for the entire duration of our stay. There was an ample selection of all food items, and we could eat a good lite dinner. They also offer a buffet area with fresh fruits and cold items and a desert area.
From the SkyClub to our gate was a quick five-minute walk to board our flight, and this was a relaxing way to spend our time before our flight.
I see reviews where people are upset about the cost of entry. Based on your Status, the price can range from Complimentary to $50. We have found the value of what we receive decent for the cost, even if it were not for our complimentary visits. We could not visit a sit-down restaurant in the terminal for any less and would not have the amenities offered by...
Read moreIâve been to a few Delta Sky Lounges and the ATL one was quite disappointing. We were in the terminal B lounge and the staff was very unfriendly compared to others Iâve visited. They all seemed more annoyed than anything, not clearly providing information and just didnât seemed very customer friendly.
The bar on the second floor was being served by what I can only describe as a grumpy bartender (which I feel is a stretch to call, as he didnât seem to know how to make drinks properly). Out of 3 drinks we ordered, the only one that was made correctly was the Stella, which was in a bottle, so no really way to screw that one up.
The food was ok, but certainly not the standard Iâve seen before. The lounge area was fine, but none of the plugs works for charging devices, so I ended up sitting at a bar area that had working plugs. Additionally, the bathrooms were smaller and not really attended too, with empty towel dispensers and generally not as nice as Iâve been to before.
The food was just meh, nothing exciting. I mean, they were serving tortilla chips and nacho cheese like we were at a ballpark. They did have some other options like a mushroom truffle chicken, potato casserole, and hand sandwiches of BBQ beef and coleslaw⌠but nothing worth eating again.
The only reason this gets two stars for service is because they did have staff walking around picking up empty drinks and trash which was a nice touch. However, if this is what is to come of the Sky Lounges, I will be looking at other options...
