I flew into ATL for a 2 hour layover. I have been to TGIF's several times before. I had time, so i ordered a Cheeseburger well done. I was specific to say well done because i do not like to eat undercooked meat. It was a busy time so the food took a little longer than expected. When the burger came out, I took a bite and the burger was cooked medium. I immediately shared with the waiter. He was apologetic and notified the manager. They asked if i wanted another burger. I did not want to risk getting another burger because now my time was dwindling. I ordered Whiskey flavored chicken wings well done because i do not like undercooked food. After a while the food came out. The food came out and instead of whiskey flavored wings, i received buffalo hot wings. I began eating the first chicken wing. After taking two or three bites, i realized that i did not receive the whiskey flavored wings i originally ordered. I notified the waiter and told him that i had the wrong wings. I told the waiter/manager to give me the check so i could leave. Moments later, the waiter brought out the correct wings. They explained that it was a mistake in the kitchen. At this point, it is close to boarding time, so i told the waiter to bring a box to take the food to go. I did not want to get a large take out tray, because i had too much luggage to carry around. So, i could only take 6 of the 10 wings. I paid my bill, and the chicken was $12 more than burger, so i ended up paying around $30 for a ginger ale and 6 chicken wings. I was very unhappy with this experience. When i got on the plane, i began to eat my wings. I ate into the first wing and realized that the wings were also undercooked! This was a very very disappointing experience. I reached out to teh TGIF home office, and they assured me that someone would reach out in 2-3 days; however, I am 8 days later, and i still haven't heard...
Read moreThe worst Friday’s ever. Avoid at all costs. It was raining outside and smelled like mildew on the inside. I waited at the front for 10 minutes. I wasn’t crowded. All women run this restaurant. That’s not exactly a bad thing but you would think since it was all women that would be things would be running like clockwork. I ordered these chicken wings with the macaroni and cheese, but they gave me chicken wings no macaroni and cheese and french fries. I thought my macaroni and cheese was gonna come out and it never did but they still charge me, but without. The wings came out they were hot and just slightly overcooked and that made for chewy mess. My waitress just did a lot of drive-by stuff even drop the food down while she was on the way to do something else, but in the order in the manner which it was done, it was no personal touch or attention to it. My waitress never checked on me. I never followed up with my macaroni and cheese until I ask her about cheese boy and ran off and as she was running off, she said, do you still want I said no I finished my food. I watch more people coming to the restaurant and all of a sudden here comes one of the workersbb of the restaurant taking a dirty, nasty trashcan full of trash right through the restaurant where people are eating I’m talking about like came so close to me that I can even smell the trash ridiculous. I said something to the host who wasn’t the manager is sure enough the same person with more trash walk through the restaurant again I did notice that they must’ve said something to this lady who was taking the trash out because she gave me a mean look on her way back from coming outside crazy Stay away from this...
Read moreThis is a posting for TGIF NEAR E concourse. I was left with a very sour taste after this experience. And I hope that others consider this a warning to try another joint. The initial server was lovely, and courteous. After she took my order, another gentlemen came to take my order as well. When I told him I was already being served, his body language expressed his annoyance. I asked for time for box of bones, and with the 15 - 20 minute turnover, I could not make that time. It then my flight was delayed and asked if I could upgrade. It should be pretty simple as all I got was a side of fries. All they needed to do was give me the bones (ribs and chick en). At the end of the meal the gentleman checked me out and charged me the 5.50$ for the fries. But that should not have been on there. I explained my understanding, and he laughed it off that you cannot upgrade fries to bucket of bones. But he was not really understanding that, in actuality you could. When my server came back and I explained what he did, she stated that she was giving me the fries non gratis. But he overrode her. I was also giving a tip o. The meal without the fries. I gave him $40 asking for $2 back. He laughed at me. Was it insulting? Well they were not worth the 20% tip, no change would have offered.
Overall. It was the lowlight of the entire trip. I felt that he just wanted me out. I would have given my entire fries tip to my original server. I had a plane to catch, that was boarding. So I could not continue. I hope that the admin read this and have a conversation with...
