Our son wanted steak for his birthday so my family (party of 10) and I celebrated here at Ted’s! This was our first visit at this location (Johnson Ferry Rd) and compared to the southside location their service was impeccable and so was our dinner!! Didn’t get much food pics but our dishes ranged from the Avalon Burger, Ted’s Bacon Cheeseburger, Delicious Duo (equivalent to two sliders; not a double burger like my other son thought) to grilled fish, Bison nachos, Wedge Salad and the Ted’s filet bison recommended by our server Libby to our son who thoroughly enjoyed it!!
Let me back track a tad. When my husband and I first entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted by Scott (who we later found out was the manager)! We felt welcomed and very comfortable! Second we were greeted by our sweet server Libby!! She was the best!! She made sure we had everything we needed!! My husband went back out to bring in our son’s cake from the truck and asked Scott could he bring it in to keep cool until we left. Our original plan was to have it back at our sons’ place but he offered to cut it for us here at the restaurant! That was so kind of him to offer! I highly recommend this location!!! When I tell our service was top notch it was just that and then some!! We drove about an hour to get here and it was well worth the drive!! Libby and Scott thank you again for your kindness and helping to make our son’s birthday a success!!! Also shout out to the chef(s) and those who made our meal awesome!! You all are the...
Read moreI have never had a problem with any Ted’s restaurant until visiting this location. After leaving the trampoline park celebrating my daughter’s 8th Birthday we decided to eat at Ted’s. This would be my fiancé and my daughter first time eating at a Ted’s. Our son and oldest daughter were with us as well. So, we had a party 5.. I want to start off with saying it was not a welcoming atmosphere when we walked in and that was the first red flag. We were tired and hungry and decided to still give it a try. I ordered a medium well ribeye, salad, loaded bake potato, comedians had chicken, broccoli, mashed potatoes, my oldest daughter had a bison burger and fries, my son had chicken fingers and fries and my daughter who’s birthday we were celebrating had a steak and fries. My salad was so soggy , my steak was well done and the baked potatoes were cold and old. The baked potato looked dry as if it had sat all day. My fiancé food was cold and my son chicken tenders were as well and hard. My two daughter’s food was fine. I had also ordered a glass of wine. I asked for the manager and the kitchen was closed so the manager applied a $10 credit. As a Manager myself at a 500 fortune company, the solution to what we experienced was unacceptable. A waste of time and our hard earned money. My daughter dinner was ruined for her birthday as well. My fiancé was so disappointed he stated he would never eat at a Ted’s again. Hopefully, I can change his mind by going to a...
Read moreI've been in East Cobb since 2020. This was our go to place. We even went for Thanksgiving day (they not open on Thanksgiving any longer). Last year, we stopped going. The food was no longer good, and the service got bad. Some of my favorites were the onion rings, nachos, bison chili, bison steak, and two chicken sandwiches.
We tried Ted's again today, Dec 1, 2024. Unfortunately, they have gotten worse. The visit started off great. Greeted when we walked in the door and asked for a table and got one. Beer and drinks were cold. Server was good. We ordered the nachos, one of my favorites, and they came out cold. I think it was the chili and cheese that were cold. We sent the nachos back. They brought them back,, and they were still cold. Not as cold, but still cold. We just returned them. Wife ordered the bison burger, we also had chicken sandwich - the Redrock, and my other son got the Brick chicken with broccoli. The buns were cold on the chicken sandwich - they use to toast them. The onion rings were burnt, the broccoli was cold, and my wife had a pesky gnat, that was flying around all meal, land on her burger. Thumbs way down! Also, minor complaint, but I use to love that powder soap in the bathroom. That is gone. Just liquid soap. Very disappointing that one of my favorite restaurants can't get their act together. I use to really...
