I had a very unpleasant & poor customer service experience at this location. I ordered/reserved a quarter ham & smoked turkey breast online on Monday morning, 11/19 for pickup on 11/21. I wasn't provided an option to pay online for store pickup, yet I did receive email confirmation that my order was received by this store. I also called on this morning to reconfirm my order & was advised that it would be ready for pickup as long as I arrive before 8pm. After I got off work I arrived at the store by 7:30pm to one extremely long line. I called the store while standing in line to verify if I had to stand in the same line to pickup my pre-ordered food with patrons who did not reserve, but no one answered. 20 minutes later I made it to the register only to have sales rep Nina tell me that they sold out of quarter hams. I asked her how could that be considering that I preordered 2 days prior, received order confirmation, also verbal confirmation when I called them on this morning. Nina replied that there's no guarantee if you don't prepay. I explained to her that online reservation for store pickup doesn't offer the option to prepay. Nina said she was aware but there wasn't anything she could do about it. She then advised that the cheapest/smallest ham they had for sale at that time costs $80 & there wasn't anything she could do about the price. She then asked me - with a snarky tone; whether or not I still wanted to purchase the other items I reserved. SMH! Read moreMy husband and I visited this location and decided to dine in since he had a gift card from his employer. Andrew was very kind and attentive, even though there was a rush of customers just before we came in and it appeared he was training a new employee, Shameka (sp?).
We took our time ordering, because we are not used to ordering lunch from The Honey Baked Ham Company, mostly family meals to go. Andrew did not rush us or seem impatient, he actually explained the menu items and was rather patient. As we dined in, it seemed there had been a complaint just before we ordered, but Andrew maintained his composure and handled the issue professionally was able to serve the customers on site.
There was even an instance when a gentleman who appeared to be "down on his luck" that entered the store. We gave him our gift card since he was just sitting without anything to eat and there was still a balance remaining. The order he made was just a little bit over the amount on the card, and when my husband offered to pay the excess, Andrew paid the difference himself without judging or demeaning the customer.

Read moreI had a great experience and it was my first time. I placed my order five days in advanced for two full turkeys and I was unaware that the turkeys are not prepared cooked-ready to serve. I told myself all week I need to go to the start and communicate with the staff to make sure that everything would go as planned. I was too busy working, but I’m so glad that I at least called on the day of pick-up to ensure them I will be arriving and confirmed my order. When I got that I had to completely change my order because I had no previous experience with ordering Turkey. CHARELLE WAS SO HELPFUL AND EXPLAINED WHAT THE STORE OFFERED AND HOW SHE COULD ACCOMMODATE ME. Her suggestions were great and everyone at the party enjoyed the three Turkey halves and one Ham half.
