After a long day of exploring Downtown Atlanta, I was hungry and ready to eat everything. That was exactly what I did; I ate everything. My order: German Sticks with a side of Ramekin of Queso: This appetizer was actually highly recommended by the waiter when I asked him what would be my best option. He stood behind the German Sticks and its deliciousness. These German Sticks were arguably the best pretzel breadsticks I have had. They were hot, freshly baked, light, soft, and fluffy. Chicken Tenders (five piece): I was intrigued to try these chicken tenders because t menu read they are hand breaded. I was pretty happy I ordered these because the chicken tenders were huge! There was no chance I was leaving this restaurant hungry. I had the option of having them coated with one of the sauces; however, I preferred mine naked with a side of bleu cheese dip. Wings (ten piece): half raspberry chipotle BBQ, half Jamaican: My reaction to the wings are mixed. For one, I was really impressed with the size of the wings; I like meaty wings. The raspberry chipotle BBQ is not something that I usually order in terms of sauce flavor; however, I am glad I tried it. The raspberry flavor was definitely the dominant flavor in the sauce. Coolios' Zamunda Fire (sauce only): I asked the waiter which sauce on the menu was the hottest. He responded with Coolios' Zamunda Fire. This sauce was insanely hot; I would be interested to learn what the Scoville unit is for this sauce. I loved the fact that it was not so oily like most sauces are. It was full of flavor, and be careful because it can easily be confused for salsa to be used with tortilla chips. Note, if Frank's RedHot Sauce is "hot/spicy" for you, for your own safety, do not try the Coolios' Zamunda Fire. Service: I was happy with the service I received from the waiter I had. He made some great menu recommendations, and that is always good to have a waiter who is familiar with the menu options. Between my appetizer and meal, there was nearly a 30 minute gap. I am not sure why that was because the waiter was frequently checking back in at my table (like any good waiter/waitress should practice). The tenders and wings were good, but they were not crispy fresh. It was as if the kitchen cook let them sit for some time before it was brought out to me. Menu: I would recommend that restaurant management redesign their menu look and layout (especially for their sauce selection). The menu has a lot of white space. The sauce selection is scrambled. There are hot sauces mixed with sweet sauces. I believe it would be better if the sauces were organized by scale of sweetness to spiciness, or it could just be categorized by sweet and spice (if not in ranking).

So Sunday was Our first time here, looks like a very enjoyable place to eat. Hostess, very friendly, gave us the choice to eat inside or out. We selected the outside. The waiter greated us, gave us menus took our drink order, and left. Came back with our drinks, and explained the differant wing sauces to us. They have a very large selection of sauces, which the menu dosnt tell you what's in the sauces. So we ordered the wings, and that was the last time we saw our waiter till someone else brought us our order, which took about 20 mins, and even then, the server dropped our plates on the table and made a mad dash back to the kitchen. Was there some sports on TV or something? Didn't asked if there was anything else we needed, nonthing. Just dropped and go. During our waite, we had to go to the bar to get another drink, which they won't add it to your meal tab, you have to pay for it at the bar, even though there was only 1 other couple sitting in our area. We had to get our silverware, which was wrapped in a wash cloth, also from the bar, as well as paper towels. Our waiter finally did returned, again after our food had been served. He did bring us some OFF spray, due to some mosquito or. Nats bites, Thank you for that, Didn't see him again till we asked a waitress who had been working another table for a to go box and our check. Our waiter returned with the box and our check. Few other things, the menu is very small print, but you do have the option to scan it to your phone and read it, but no info on the differant sauses they have for the wings, which is like 30 to select from, and when we mention that our table was off balance, rocking back and forth, Waiter stated, yea several of them our like that. I had to temp fix the table. The wings where very good, as well the Onion rings. The 2 stars are for the lack of service. Service, again weren't giving any silverware, napkins, and then only saw our waiter 4 times, that includes getting our check, and we were there just over an hour. 9/10/2020 Got a reply from Mangment. Thank you for your reply, but to be honest, seams more like the standard reply. Just filling in the box showing that you replied. You didn't really address the situation, only stating hope we give you another try. With all that's going on today, especially with restaurants, think you might want to engage more with your customers, especially if They had a bad experience.

Wait, I think I went through a time machine walking through the door, this place allows smoking in the outside seating, and according to my friend they have a whole walled off smoking section on the inside! What, for real, did I wake up in a time before they had Internet so these people never got the memo that smoking is not good for you or literally anyone around you. Wow. Seriously. We used to go to this place back in the day when it was a real wild wing cafe, and I only have good memories. Apparently it's the same food now just minus the company name. Their beer list is huge, and they get super awesome massive props for putting the untappd beer ratings right on the beer list. The food was really good, though they lose a solid point for being annoying and making me pay a single dollar extra for wings with a side of carrots and celery, in what world is that not given as a default? I asked surprised and the waitress just said "not in this economy". But, ok ok I could work with that, maybe a lot of people throw them away. I also got sweet potato fries on the side, and they were good too. So, in short, everything was good except they allow smoking. What a waste. And for what it's worth I'd normally just walk out but being with friends makes that hard (hence the reason we have guidance that places shouldn't be allowed to do this for the common good) and the only reason it even was marginally ok was the only person I could see doing it stopped after a short while so I didn't directly have a issue, or it would've been a short visit. I was even excited to take my kid here next time and show him the place, but nope, that's never going to happen.

The food isn't too bad here, but it's nothing more than run-of-the-mill pub fare. That's the only positive I can share regarding The Wing.

Service: An 'A' for Always Terrible. Be prepared to wait forever for drinks, wait forever for food (while tables around you that ordered after you are served), and be ignored for 20+ minutes in a half empty restaurant. No lie, we were in just yesterday (2:30) and there were two (yes two) instances of 15+ minutes without our waitress even coming to our table to see if we we needed anything (spoiler: we needed things). But she visited numerous tables around us a few times each, and even had time to chew the fat with one table for 5 minutes. Our water/drink glasses were empty for 20 minutes at one point, no place settings or napkins brought to our table at all (we had to go ask the hostess for some of those), food orders ignored while she tended to other tables, and it took 15 minutes after asking for our checks to receive them. I also noticed someone delivering food to another table with plates stacked on the food of other plates. I'm pretty sure that's not allowed and why trays were invented. I did see whom I suspect was a manager/supervisor walking around, but she didn't seem to be doing anything other than pretending like she was busy. Again, this isn't a 'one time' event either. Unless you are sitting at the bar, this is the type of service you should expect here. And I guess I'll add this fun observation in this section. Over a number of visits I have seen a number of employees use the restroom and not wash their hands. They've been busted on health inspections for hand washing violations over the last few years too (including a 62 in 2017) and only got an 80 on their recent inspection. That should tell you all you need to know.

Atmosphere: Dirty? It just has a very dingy vibe. Probably since nothing appears to have been updated since 1998. Our table was dirty yesterday, which is annoying considering how dead the place was when we arrived. Then when we asked for it to be cleaned, the hostess asked "where is it dirty?" as if it was a chore to wipe down the whole table. I also had to swap out my chair because it looked like someone ate their salad off of the seat. Don't inspect your glasses too closely either. Let me just say if you see bubbles from a carbonated beverage clinging to the side of your glass (not plastic, glass), it means its dirty. And don't even get me started on the bathrooms. They typically look like they're cleaned once every fortnight and may have been added as an afterthought. Heck the men's room stall door doesn't even latch properly. I also appreciate the nice design choice that the urinals are only a foot-and-a-half away from each other without a divider between them. It's fun sharing that personal space. The 'Tiki Room' (aka the outside patio with a bar) is fine if that's your thing. I've never been a fan.

Food: Again it's OK. Nothing to write home about, but it does the job. Sometimes the wings taste fresh out of the oven, sometimes they taste like they were reheated in a microwave before being served. Though if you like watery dipping sauces with your wings, this is the place to be. The beer list is pretty long, but often times it's a guessing game as to what is actually being poured (they only update the list once per month, sometimes less than that). Make sure to have at least 2-3 options on deck in case your first few requests aren't available.

I just don't recommend this place at all. We get roped into visiting a few times per year, and it never gets any better than the previous visit. I honestly don't understand how they have such large crowds...
