U Love Wings — Restaurant in Georgia

I just left this established right now at 7:55 pm on 9.21.22 and the cook in the back was extremely rude.

I use to love this place when I lived in the Terrances and always ordered the whiting fish as nuggets, extra crispy. Since I moved, I have not been back and was looking forward to going down memory lane.

The girl in the front told me they can make the fish as nuggets. I pay, and a couple of minutes later the cook in the back says, we don't do that.

I stated, I use to get it that way all the time. He says, I've been here and we never did that. I'm like how are you going to tell me because I know what I ordered and ate. I was going to just let it go and get the fish regular but the cook got an attitude about it. So, I said you know what just refund me. He throws his hand up as to shoot me away and says yes, just refund her, I don't care.

I said, wow, I would never come back here again. He says, that's fine.

Read lots of reviews- some good, some not so good.... My experience was incredible- from the moment I walked in the door, where I was greeted with a smile and a wave; to when my order was taken and questions answered in a knowledgeable fashion and even repeated back to me to make sure everything was correct; to the only 15 mins on my XX crispy wings (which were probably the best wings I’ve ever had...), which the server brought to me; to when I went back for a refill of the peach drink, which another reviewer suggested, which I agree is delicious; and a very pleasant goodbye. I’ll agree, the wings are on the smaller side, but I got 20 wings, fries and a drink for $17.50... and couldn’t even finish all the fries and couldn’t eat the last 2 wings, as badly as I wanted to! Service was not good. Dining room is closed so it's takeout only. Sign on the door says "Masks please," which is fine. What isn't fine though, is the fact that the girls at the counter were wearing masks, but NOBODY in the kitchen was. Pretty sure they weren't wearing gloves either, so there's that. I ordered a Philly wing combo with fries. The cooks put the fries on wax paper ON TOP of my Philly, so when I took them out of the box they took half the sandwich with it, and pretty much ALL of the cheese. The Philly was soggy, which is impressive considering they cooked it in about 4 minutes and somehow managed to completely dry out the "steak," which was most definitely not steak. The combo also came with 5 wings, which tasted ok, but I've seen bigger wings on a grasshopper. Absolutely would not go back and would...
