Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

I would give negative stars if I could. Yes it was Halloween night when our family of four went here to eat. However certain tables are closed due to "covid" but its like 2 tables closed back to back and 4 tables all together. Doesn't really make alot of sense, however after walking in and standing for 5 minutes bc tables weren't cleared. I asked a young man to if he could get someone to clear a table off he said "let me see but we have 2 minutes until shift change. After another few minutes we were seated and given menus. But you know after 10 minutes of sitting down and watching 2 separate groups get service before us we had to walk out. I understand staffing shortages and covid bs but why are people getting served after us. I don't know but its absolutely ridiculous. Oh I almost forgot the best part as were walking out they say try the one...

Busy for a Thursday night. Certain tables blocked off and every other seat was taken. Only 3 people on shift and only one of them was tending tables. We were going to dine in and decided to take it to go instead. Personally, I am not a Waffle House fan but it was the only thing open at the time and to be honest, the hashbrowns were on point! They were the best ones I've had yet. Kudos to the young man who was the cook tonight. Trina was the waitress and although she was completely covered up and running from customer to customer, she still managed to have a good attitude and even a smile. And she remembered my order from the night before.....yes we ate there two nights in a row.....smh. Those hashbrowns though...

My daughter and I went to this location for breakfast. There were only two other patrons there, which had already ordered. This male waitress looked at me and said that he will be with us. This male went behind the counter with the other three(3) workers, as my daughter and I proceeded to watch them talk and play around, while still not being served, not even drinks. After about 15 mins, I make a hand motion to one of the waiters, she came to me and asked, "what do you want"? I replied, "for someone to take our order. She responded, in a rude tone, "he said that he would be with you". Extremely poor customer service and I sincerely hope that the color of our skin, had nothing...
