First of all, it was FREEZING in the place. There were gentlemen in sleeves and they were saying how cold it was as well. I guess I am just used to the waffle house by our house and I am not sure if they are just so much better and this place was average or that the place by our house is typical and this was just really bad. I ordered large hash browns smothered covered chunked and diced. I kid you not because I counted them... there were 5 pieces of ham and 4 pieces of tomato in my large hash browns. I think there might have been 4 pieces of onion, but only 1 really big enough to actually notice. I promise I am not making this up! Also for the large hash browns at the waffle house near our house they put 2 pieces of cheese on the large (double) order and there was only 1 piece of cheese on these hash browns. I felt sorry for the waitresses a because they had food and weren't able to eat it so they were eating their food for their break while waiting on customers. I don't think that's a good practice at all. Nothing was really really bad but the experience was less than average. I got a coffee to go and once again at the waffle house by our place they give you the bigger cup size and they gave me the smallest cup size and it was only like half full to boot. The waitresses were friendly but over whelmed. I had to ask for coffee two times, but again, they were friendly. I think I'll stick to going to the waffle house in our...
Read moreAVOID THIS PLACE AS THEY DISCRIMINATE AGAINST DISABLED PEOPLE, LAUGH IN YOUR FACE AND REFUSE TO SERVE YOU. We have filed a report with the DOJ and the ADA for violating his rights as a person with a disability. Waffle House is a treat and we like going there every once in a while but we and our community of people will boycott WH from now on.
My partner and his service animal came in last night with a friend for a late night bite and were immediately refused service upon entry because of his service animal. You can see the two employees just laughing it off and being avoidant. This is his account on what happened:
“I was told to leave by employees the second I walked in the door saying that pets are not allowed. The dog is trained as a service animal for a task related to a disability and is not a pet. The animal was not exhibit- ing problematic behaviors and was silent and sitting. No customers were in the restaurant and the em- ployees refused to talk to us and went into the back and left us alone in the restaurant. We called the police and they ended up threatening to arrest us for trespassing. Since the employees would not speak to us, we were unable to get their names, but I have a clear photo of two of them and a side photo of the third. There were 3 employees working and it would be the employees working at 2am on the morning of...
Read moreNo welcome when walked in, staff all standing around like they didn't want to work, full of lazyness all tables were piled up with dishes not wiped down and pretty sure they had a down x where they could of used their time wisely because when we walked in it was not busy at all. Wiped tables as people walk in and sit down to wipe down a table 🤦🏻♀️Need to hire people that actually want 2 work. Did not see the health inspection posted anywhere inside. Checked bulletin, behind walls, restrooms and kitchen and did not see anywhere. Waitress Anteria S. walked up without saying goodmorning so I took the INITIATIVE to greet to make sure she was doing well. 🤔🙄🤦🏻♀️ Finally saw a man whom came in that was actually working hard and smiled and asked if he was the manager I did inform him of everything I observed and he handled the situation well . Thank you Alex he deserves the 5 stars but...
