Yesterday was the final straw with them. I went and ordered a four-for-four I got a junior bacon cheeseburger, nuggets, fry, and a drink with no ice. Immediately when I'm handed my drink it has ice in it I hold it at my window until she gets back with my credit card and she asked me what's wrong with the drink. I said I was supposed to have no ice in it and she's like okay and she replaces it. After replacing it she starts taking the next person. I wait over 5 minutes before getting my food that had been sitting right behind her the entire time. I finally drive off and already 15 minutes down the road I start eating my food. The first thing I pull out of the bag was my sandwich (my junior bacon cheeseburger) and felt a very hardness coming from this. And immediately started to examine my burger and realize half of the bun was rock hard and the other half wasn't. So I pulled up my receipt and started calling them and told them about that. They said I could come back when I can. I was okay with that and got off the phone with them. Shortly after that I started eating my nuggets and realize they had a funky smell out of it meaning they probably haven't changed the oil in quite some time. So I skipped over that and tried to eat the fries which were cold but edible they were very soft and flimsy meaning the oil wasn't hot enough and at some point while eating the fries got even colder. So all I had was my drink and the cold fries. So I lefted the nuggets and burger in the bag so when I went back home I would stop by.
When I decided to stop by going home (approximately five and a half hours later) I ended up talking to the manager and she asked me if they could remake my order. I told her no because at this point I was sick of them messing up my order. And what I mean by that is that in previous orders they were leaving out items that I would pay extra for and not reimburse me argue with me about something being wrong and then tell me I need to bring the food back, even though when I order the food it was before they closed and then I called immediately the next day talk to that manager and he told me I do not need to bring the food back. And with the same manager she argued with me about not being on a list in the back they put your name on a book if you call and tell him you didn't receive something or whatever from other managers and so that they can reimbursed you or give you that item back. She said she couldn't find me in the book when my name is very simple.
But while I'm sitting there talking to the manager, there I can see was the most disgusting thing I ever seen and I'm not even talking about the manager I'm talking about the unclean deep fryer Grill on the back side that I can see from the drive-thru window it had a very thick orangie brown crusty looking gunk on the back that hadn't been cleaned in months. Read moreI have tried for the last time with this Wendy's. Most times I just hold negative reviews to myself. But this was just horrible. When I went in I was hesitant to even order, because there was a complaint at the counter. Mind you that I have been here for years as a customer, but over the last year, decided to go to other ones, because the taste just wasn't like other Wendy's. Well, I place my order, and I ask for two burgers with just meat and ketchup. Well, it had cheese and mayo on it. I asked for a garden salad with no cheese. Boom, it had cheese on it. So that was the second time I had to go back up. And I'm just observing while all this is happening. No one has gloves on, no one has hair nets on. There is no sense of urgency and literally every order that I saw that they did for an half an hour time span was wrong. To top it all off, and I was cool, because I worked in fast food before, I know how it is. But I bought a large chili and a small chili. well the small chili was filled all the way up, and the large chili wasn't. I asked him to please fill the large chili up. He started to explain to me that it was a fill line, and that he overfilled the small chili. Which I then informed him that my small chili and large chili shouldn't be the same amount. He filled it. Read moreTo begin our story, the UI of the kiosk is insanely difficult to use. The roundabout ways of having to add and remove ingredients from items took forever, not to mention they don’t hire cashiers anymore so you CANT talk to someone if you go into the store. They force you to use the kiosk. It registered maybe half of our finger taps because of a malfunctioning screen or the layer of grease and grime across the front of it.
The drink and utensil section was overflowing with trash (we took a picture), no ketchup, no spoons, everything depleted. The rest of the restaurant was dirty and nothing was cleaned or organized. We watched a staff member “clean” the station a bit while we were there, but sprayed the disinfectant all over everything including getting spray on the spouts of the tea urns… I hope it was diluted enough that there wasn’t any disinfectant in it to speak of.
The staff was not directly rude, but definitely didn’t have a lick of customer service and didn’t give a single, care.
Overall, I wouldn’t come back to this Wendy’s if you paid me and had a brand new Wendy’s corvette chauffeuring me to and from the restaurant. I might eat it if there was a Wendy’s burger and a few fries sitting a top a warm rock in the Sahara desert and someone else (besides a Wendy’s employee) had taken the time to...
