My daughter ordered went inside to order a whiting fish salad for me. I was outside in the car I’m highly allergic to tomatoes and she ordered the salad with no tomatoes but take a wild guess what was on top of my salad? I had to throw the entire salad away and we live in Hampton which is 40 mins away. The cashier was on the phone taking an order at the same time she took my daughters order and apparently missed the substitute however while speaking with the manager who wasn’t at the counter during the transaction proceeds to tell me “she didn’t tell the cashier no tomatoes”. My daughter order food for me often and she knows that I can’t have tomatoes or tomato products so why would she forget this 1? The girl even asked my daughter if I wanted cheese she called on the phone to verify that but failed to do what she was paid to do. Well, if you scan the QR code on the menu, your order will go to the Griffin location. When we went to pick up the food at Windy Hill, they didn't have our order. Then I noticed the site was incorrect. Be advised that the Manager was rude and unwilling to help correct the situation. We just placed another order at that location because this was a late meal. I called Chownow to cancel the other order, but the Manager at the Griffin location refused my refund, so I had to escalate my complaint with Chownow about their menu. With all the trouble, one would hope the food was really good. It's not the food is subpar. The green bean is terrible. The fish was salty and overcooked.
