Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Georgia

I’ve eaten at this Zaxby’s many times and it’s been consistently good! Most of the time the staff is very friendly, and my food is always hot and fresh. Yesterday, I picked up a meal on my lunch break and as usual the food was great, except when I went to take my first sip of sweet tea there was a DEAD FLY floating in it. Yum. There is so way this happened in the car. My drink was completely covered, so it had to have happened at the restaurant. I was heartbroken, I don’t like writing back reviews but as someone who has put in years of work in the food industry in the past I felt I needed to say something. If it was my restaurant, I would have wanted to know. It’s so important to keep the ice troughs and tea earns covered especially during the summer months. No one wants bugs in their food 😭 I called the store, explained the situation, and let them know they should probably change out the sweet tea. I gave 3 stars instead of just 1 because of all the other great experiences I’ve had in this Zaxby’s before, but the dead fly infused sweet tea has me not wanting to go back...

Worst fast food place I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been a total of about 7 times because I love zaxby’s, however this store can’t get anything right.

3 of the occasions I didn’t receive any dressings or sauces or half of them? in my 30$+ order everytime.

2 of the occasions they have forgotten part of my order, a order of fries on one and a drink on the other.

1 of the occasions they messed my order up so bad and charged me the wrong order and proceeded to tell me that my order would be “comp’d” for the inconvenience. It wasn’t. 2 minutes later, The manager proceeds to ask for my card again, charge me for my actual original order and then forgot half of my original order when giving it to me.

I’ve never written a review before but it is so bad I felt the need to let people know to only use this zaxbys if you have no other option.

UPDATE: My last few visits to this location have been much better. The food has been very fresh, and the staff has been friendly. Wait times can still be a little on the long side…but there has been improvement!

Sat in line for 20+ minutes, and received this. Note: I was only 4 cars back from the speaker when I drove up. Rubbery, dry chicken. This is rolled in nuclear??? There was absolutely no spice, and only a faint hint of Buffalo flavor. I was extremely disappointed in the product - especially given the insane wait time. I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1, ONLY because the girl at the window was nice, even though she was being run rampant. She literally was running orders out to cars. If I would have had another half hour to waste, I would have gone in and asked for fresh and PROPER food. Sadly, I was on my lunch break and had already used that...
