Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Georgia

I went to zaxby last night (08/12/20) l got in the drive through line around 9:45 and there were about 6 cars on front of me. I ordered a zax snack meal with ranch and two wing meal combos with ranch. My three cherry fanta’s looked pink. Not deep red like usual. It tasted of carbonated water they gave me 3 new drinks which were light pink as well. She said it was minute maid, so l assumed pink lemonade and pulled off. Got home. The new sodas were supposed to be fruit punch and they were worse than the first sofas. Opened the food to find out the fries in all three meals looked brown but they were all raw when you bite into them. My son’s three tenders were fried to a crisp and tasted burnt. They put zax sauce in there even though l asked for ranch and ranch was on my receipt. We all hate zax sauce! My daughter and l both got sweet and spicy traditional wings. They didn't look burnt but they tasted burnt. Like they were cooked in old burnt grease. I was so upset about this order. I have been calling the store but getting no answers. I saved the food and drinks l will be going back on Saturday with the food and my receipt to get a refund. Looking at my ticket l see they took my order and it was paid for at 10:02pm. I am hoping this was the reason for this terrible food. I don't frequent this location but stoped on my way home. I can understand that they were closing but l would have just preferred for them to say ma'am we are now close instead of taking my money and not servicing me properly! I spent almost $25.00 and ended up having to throw a pizza in the oven. This was ridiculous...

One of the worst Zaxbys experiences I've had was on Saturday April 30th. First off I ordered my food and went to fill my drink. The machine was almost completely out of every variety or drink. So I and another person tell the attendant and she barely looks at us or acknowledges it. ... doesn't offer to fill it for us from drive thru ... Nothing. Then I get my meal and ask for ketchup... she literally says "nope" and walks away as she shakes her head hiding so as to not elaborate at all! I very nearly asked for a refund ... if all of the cashiers hadn't completely vanished as 4 people in mine were shocked at no drink options and no ketchup. Then ... as I'm finishing my last bite of fries very disappointing without any ketchup ... an old man pins her attention and says "are you telling me there isn't any ketchup in the whole store?" She says I can fill a small cup from the back. What?!?!?! Why not have those ready to go on the counter already.... why did you piss off a large group of people ... or the one kid who just wanted to dip her fries when there was a simple solution????? After 30 minutes the drink machine was still empty ... I had to opt for tea. Not a single customer was warned of any shortages before ordering which is a bait and switch and deceptive. New management is needed ... one who can effectively fill out purchase orders or...

I say this as a former employee of Zaxby’s…I have NEVER I had the experience I have at this Zaxby’s. I live 6 minutes away. Since 2020, every time I come to this location there is always a wait. It doesn’t matter if you go inside or go through the drive through. Everytime I go through the drive through I am pulled up into a parking space to wait for 20+ minutes. They aren’t understaffed as I see several people in the front of the house and back of the house. Mobile orders are never ready. They don’t change the soda filters in the front of the house. There is never a reason why they are behind. I don’t if they are driving to preserve their drive time, but this isn’t it! People spend way too much for this food for it to take forever. I’m unsure if this is still a franchise location or not, but this unacceptable! I have notice that most restaurants in this area operate differently than in predominately white areas. Complaints are made and nothing is done. Whoever the owner is should be ashamed. This is my LAST time supporting this location. The training needs to change. The wait times need to change. I’m looking at the screen now and it’s full. Smh. It’s been 15 minutes I’ve been waiting for my food. This isn’t zaxbys in the early 2000’s with buzzers. This is suppose to be fast food....
